I got into the franchise when RE2R was launched, loved it and got intrested in the franchise and I played almost all of the games from RE, except for Code veronica, outbreak and other games which weren't on the main line of RE.

But looking back att all the games I played which was in RE universe, this one I have to say is one of the top 5 RE games of all time, the mix of horror and surival action was a nice mix. Imagine half the game being RE7 and RE4R. They hit so many W's that there isn't many issues personally I find with the game. The game as usual is very optimized, I have a 3090 TI it's still good but not the latest generation, unlike other Engines which are badly optimized and are lazy. RE Engine has been nothing but amazing terms of visuals + optimization, I am happy I pre-ordered this and paid for highest additon because CAPCOM has been on a streak and I'm happy for them.

- Leon is obviously back, but man did they make the action sequence feel even better, I loved the addition of the hatchet and the fact that it doesn't break, but you have to sharpen it from time to time, which is a lot better than needing to go to the trader lol.
- Grace is amazing addition to the game, I had no expectations of her when I came in. She honestly suprised me, course she isn't experinced and isn't trained as Leon, but she has her strenghts she is quite smart despite her anxiety and stress. The actress really deserves and award, because man her peformance has been nothing but amazing.
- Rhodes hill was personally my favourite part of the game, the way the zombies behaved was amazing, because they aren't like your typical RE2R zombies, they actually have some of their traits before they got infected and routines, this was nice mechanic.
- Leon Section they made it so the more you kill the more you get rewarded, I liked this approach. it rewards you.

Here are some negatives

- Would've been more nice to have segments where we played as Grace in different areas where we have to stealthy manuver, then after that Leon comes in and wipes the area after Grace's part is finished. So far only one part of the game has that, but would've been cool if there was more and sick.
- I won't go into spoilers but the antagonist could've been written better.
- There is 1 section that drags in the first playthrough, could've well been better executed without it.
- When you replay at least the intro it drags a bit, wish there was a way to skip it. But that's not a huge issue, there are mods for it.
- Guns are nice but they didn't have well, their charachter? Idk how to put this, but imagine the RED9 or the five-seven they had their own characteristics, one penetrates and one is critical etc. Here however? Idk. They felt...bland?

Other than that, there really isn't much to complain about top of my mind, I enjoyed it. Took me 9 hours to finish, but it has challenges which is quite nice and Insanity difficulty which I honestly enjoyed.

Very fun, though some maps are meh and small.

I played the earlier S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games when I was younger, and I loved the series. Now, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is really good and has an interesting story too. Before the patch, I experienced a lot of game-breaking bugs where I couldn’t progress because either a mission was broken, or I couldn’t do optional quests. After Patch 1.01, I noticed some fixes; however, I still couldn’t progress further. I had to download UED tools to proceed. GSC fixed a lot of things in Patch v1.01, but unfortunately, there are still issues. Additionally, there are graphical glitches and bugs I’ve noticed, although it could be my rig. Still, I suspect it’s the game.


This will address the issues I’m currently facing. To be specific, Visions of the Truth is still bugged. Before the patch, Scar wouldn’t speak with me; he would just stand there with one of his dead minions, and I couldn’t do anything. After the patch, something changed—they weren’t there anymore, neither Scar nor his minion. This made things worse. I had to use UED tools and write a command to restart the mission. It worked, but after I spoke with him and the C-Consciousness, the game bugged again, and I couldn’t progress. This patch claimed to fix the quest, at least some of the bugs, but sadly, it doesn’t seem to have fully addressed the issue.


I have a 3090 TI, 128GB of RAM, and a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. While this isn’t the absolute best, you’d at least expect decent FPS even on low settings. I get around 60-100 FPS, which is really good. You might wonder why I’m complaining—it’s because you’re forced to use DLSS and frame generation to achieve that. Before the patch, performance was worse, especially in trader towns (I haven’t tested these areas after Patch 1.01). My FPS dropped to 30 in those cases.

I advise you to watch benchmark videos of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to see how your GPU and CPU perform. Personally, I think the recommended specs image is misleading, as the specs seem to assume the use of upscalers like DLSS and FSR. I’m not complaining much, but I wanted to give everyone a heads-up before buying S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.


I noticed some missing features in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, such as night vision, the ability to gut mutants (though my memory might be bad, and this could be a mod from Misery), and binoculars. There may be more missing features, but it seems likely we’ll need to rely on mods in the future to restore some of these elements.


S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is visually stunning when it works. Gunplay, when there’s no input lag (I’m not sure if this has been fixed yet since I managed to resolve it myself), is great, and headshots are incredibly satisfying. Artifact hunting is cool and likely better than in some older entries, but honestly, it’s sometimes not worth it—at least for some artifacts.

I’m playing on Veteran difficulty, and honestly? It’s not as hard as I expected. Maybe that’s because I’ve played a lot of Misery in the past, but it doesn’t feel as challenging as I was told it would be. The NPCs, especially humans, are very basic—they often rush at you with no regard for their lives. While this might make sense for Monolith soldiers, it doesn’t for other factions.


So far, I’d rate S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 a 6-7/10. It needs more patches to address the issues many players are facing. If these problems are fixed, the game has the potential to be Game of the Year.


Do not recommend as of Patch v1.01—it needs more updates.

This is how you make a remake, this game is fun to play, especially when they have added mercenary's mode. I recommend you buy this game :)

If you like FPS competive games then this is the game for you this game dosen't have any bugs at the moment and this games makes you wanna practice at everthing. There is more game modes but let's focus on the competitive game mode you can choose hostage recuse or bomb plant. This game has a ranking system witch puts on the same skill group as other players that play like you. But before you buy this make sure you have a Mobil so you can go in to prime because there is a lot of cheaters and smurfs in this game. Smurf is a player who has played CS:GO and has a higher in CS and very experienced. Smurfs play against low tier players and basically kill them and troll them because they have better aim. Note even if you have prime it dosen't mean that you won't play with Cheater or smurfs it just makes it harder for smurf or cheaters to play against you. And if this game is not for you you could always ask for a refund.
