Simple, elegant, and well designed. I would call it mindless fun in spite of the story because you don't need the story for the game to be enjoyable.

Yes, another change in my review, it happens a lot when the games are in early development as my opinion is often swayed by the development team. They are reading our criticisms and I do have hope for this game becoming great because of that one thing.

But be warned the settings are limited in control, they currently have generic "low-mid-epic" settings instead of being able to control specific effects and rendering options. So if there are certain rendering features that impact your ability to play you may have to just set it to low and do without most rendering options.

However, the game's mechanics are great. A few tweaks to the breeding system will make it comparable to other games with taming.

If you like creature collecting and battling games, this is a great choice. I have played for a few days and am still in the third area, and the combat is fun yet you can skip it if you want to just level grind.

There's even automated systems in the game so you can level up more monsties. The story is cookie cutter so far, but very engaging. Well worth the money, looking forward to finishing this one.

Forced PvP is always a negative.

The NA server is made toxic by a small group of Nazis that one mod allows and even encourages to say hate speech. Full loot is dying, it always attracts the most toxic people.

The story is typical, at least so far. But the combat is kinda fun, melee classes are much more involved than ranged classes. In game loot is sparse, requiring a lot of grind, and the cosmetics are not that bad. Overall, worth playing if you're bored.

I love this game, it's a challenge and tons of fun. So much content too.

Also the way you can move your character between save worlds, and they keep everything in their inventory. When I discovered that feature it blew my mind.
