This is a “Simon Says” type game. You need to “read” your opponent’s moves to react properly. The challenge is that recognizing those moves is a trial-and-error learning process, since each enemy telegraphs their attacks differently.

I’ve never really played a “Punch-Out” style of game before, and I can say it’s not my cup of tea. It’s not specifically a problem with this game, I just don’t enjoy this genre. I can’t seem to find the fun in it.

This game is highly overrated, like really really really overrated. It feels like a very grindy mobile game, if you don't have enough power ups unlocked and leveled up you will not finish the game. The game even offers a god mode in the options because he knows how retarded it is.

Its not a matter of growing better, getting to know the enemies movements, just the correct power ups to power through the stupid difficulty. There's moments where it feels like i'm playing a bullet hell game, its humanly impossible to dodge so much crap thrown at you. Forget the "hard but fair" on this one.

If you're looking for a hard but fair rogue lite pick dead cells, returnal or absolum. Even loop hero is more fun then this. This one is garbage, i don't understand the hype over this game. Maybe because it has greek mythology in it, i seriously don't understand the hype...

Doom has peaked for me with this entry. In my opinion it’s much better than Doom (2016) and Eternal by a mile. Specially the pacing, the story, the map design, the action and the gameplay, everything! I felt super powerful and killing demons was super fun and satisfying. The only weaker part is the music, it’s very generic and boring. After 30 hours I can’t remember a single track from the game.

Doom has basically gone Captain America, and I love it! 9 out of 10.

I never though i would need this game in my life, until i played the demo. Speed, style, charm and goofiness. Day zero purchase.

There's no words to explain how bad the camera and controls are. Its taking me the longest time just to finish normal difficulty, i need to take breaks every chapter just because of the motion sickness and frustration with this game.

The good:
This is the best Mario Kart clone I’ve played. It implements unique ideas and mechanics of its own, making it feel like its own thing rather than just a copy. It’s easy to pick up but hard to master, and the process is super fun. The characters have a lot of charm, the cars offer plenty of customization, and the single-player mode doesn’t just throw you into races or fights against bots. It also includes team-based games, like which team can collect more rings or deliver more hits to the rival team.

The ugly:

- No support beyond content drops and already planned events. Nothing will be fixed or balanced in the future—it’s basically abandonware since release.

- Peer-to-peer net-code straight out of the 1990s, with lots of desync problems and no host migration.

- Overpriced for the amount of content you get. It suffers from lack of content by a LOT!

- Predatory monetization model. If you buy pac-man or minecraft DLC for example, you will never be able to get their decals and horns because you missed the event, and there's no other way to obtain it. Ridiculous for a game lacking content.

- Styling options have ads on it, like alienware and ROG... on a 90€ game!

- Some characters don't have voice lines.

- Some gadgets are locked behind events, so late buyers will have to wait three months until they become available to everyone.

- Competitively, the game is a joke. As soon as you reach higher ranks, you get placed in sweaty lobbies where everyone spams the same build and is practically invincible for most of the match. Even if they drive like donkeys and hit road hazards, they don’t get punished. They’re unstoppable and unreachable. They’ll stay in first place with nothing you can do about it except run the same build they’ve been spamming for months.

- It’s way too grindy for its own good. Some challenges are just stupid, requiring 1000+ hours to complete.

Overall:
This game is a one-trick pony and only worth about 30€, with the deluxe content, otherwise the game feels even more content thirsty, and a couple of friends so you can avoid ranked filled with sweats spamming the same build they have been using since game's release. The game's mechanics are really fun, its a pity that the Sega won't be fixing the multiplayer issues.

The parkour on this game sucks, glider is a pain to use. Moving around the city is just painfully bad and boring, as well as the story.

Its not fun, and life's too short for boring games.

I love Dotemu games but this one is a miss. I don't find the combat fun and this game is filled with bad ideas that feel more like a generic beat em all to play with your kids then appealing to the Dotemu crowd looking for a solid beat em up with solid mechanics.

- Combat is BORING! Slow and sluggish!
- More then 2 players online is a visual mess that no one understands what's going on. And you can't limit to 2 players only or by ping, so, forget the online part of the game. Solo only. BORING!
- Most levels have hazards, either someone's shooting at you on the background, or something tracking all the time, or falling into a pit. Shovel knight style, BORING!
- Just like in the movies, there are more heroes then villains. Enemy variety is really lack lusting. BORING! On top of that, most of them all behave the same and have the same moves (yes, all have anti air for example).
- There's air combat, something new in beat em ups and NOT FUN AT ALL! What a bad idea!
- Trading characters its not fun, i would rather prefer to play with one from start to finish.
- Cutscene art has been pixelized to a point that i would feel offended if i was the original artist.
- Why put shields on enemies and make them block animations when every single one of them has armor? (yes, they will hit you back in a middle of a combo). BORING!
- Grabs in this game are untested, unfun, really poorly executed being able to cheese out the bosses.
- Music is forgettable.

Where is the talent that made Shredders revenge? Did they got fired or something? Because the level/game design on this game SUCKS BALLS! If you want marvel characters, you got it. If you're looking for a solid beat em all with fun combat and mechanics? Grab Absolum instead.

I'm not even a fan of extraction shooters but this one is really addicting. Having to do quests and loot specific things tones down the PvP experience to the proper amount. And having that danger fro the bots and the players breaks down the monotony of just looting.

And the formula just... works. The game is super fun with a lot of intense moments.

Even though the combat is not as deep as Streets of Rage 4, its almost up there. Just like TMNT shredders revenge this game doesn't have iframes aside from grab throw, instead you have to either dodge it to get a parry, or use your "heavy attack"/skill to get a clash/punishing move which has start up animation and not ideal in some cases. The late game of the game when the game gets more difficult, it turns into a juggle power up fiesta in the likes of SOR4 x-nightmare dlc.

In order to deal more damage players have to mix up their combo in order to deal more damage to the bosses (or else they will force a reset on your combo). Its a smart way to increase longevity without breaking the new/unskilled player out of the fun.

The combination of a rogue lite with a beat em up combines two worlds that compliment each other. Both are repetitive by nature, the last one only having the incentive of the challenge of beating the game with one coin only. The rogue lite aspect makes it interesting, either by its interesting story, lovable characters with a lot of heart, or "pathing" guardian heroes style to complete side quests.

The art and music is amazing, specially the boss fights. The combat mechanics are original and has depth. If you like beat em ups that aren't brain dead this is a must.

This beat-em-up is gonna become a classic and gonna appear on every top beat-em-ups list.
