Fun game, lots to do an unlock, long runs can bocome very silly.

A good remake with some nice new bits added in.

Probably one of the best 3D sonic games, especially recently.
Open zone areas feel good to run around and do things in, cyber space stages feel off for the most part, only feeling good in the level that take layouts from the adventure games.
Not perfect by any means but nothing so bad that it kills the game for me, and on PC you can at least mod the parts you don't like to "fix" them to some extent and there is already a good number of mods popping up, though keep in mind that any mod made to "fix" things like physics or combat will come with the problem of making some parts of the game extremely hard or impossible is some cases, the only mod I would recommend for a first time play-though is Elder Koco Fixed [gamebanana.com] as that is over all one of the most painful thing to go though in the game.

Story is also fine enough, nothing super amazing or unheard of for a Sonic game, feels like Sega got a cold feet at some points as there is a build up all game to something that is just brushed off and is just gone and forgotten.
The cyber corruption is slowly building up over the game to a point that sonic is rendered basically dead, he falls immobile and unresponsive, Tails, Knuckles and Amy then hold hands and the corruption is gone and everything just moves on.

Price feels a bit high but making the game would have been a huge undertaking and a large learning experience for the for the team so I can understand its pricing.


Overall a good game, has its flaws but I feel it is a step in the right direction for 3D Sonic.
Could talk for many hours about the game and its many pros and cons of the game but there are already hundreds of reviews that go into all of that.

A very interesting game that is well worth your time if you enjoy deck builder, puzzle solving and an interesting story, this is very much a game that the less you know going into it the better.

A beautiful game with an amazing OST and very well told story

A fun continuation of the previous games. Puzzles were interesting without being too obtuse or finicky.

Only issues I found while playing is the in-game voice chat seemed super low, my friend and I could hardly hear each other and the in-put and out-put of where maxed out.
Also the cutscenes where extremely loud even with all the volumes turned to 5%

As a game I have spent ~1500 hours in on steam and even more out, it always feel like there is something more to do.
This game is updated often and and the dev's are always looking to add something new and interesting for players new and old.
