I'm here & there on this one. The vibes of the game & especially its art are astounding. The plot is... kinda convoluted, but makes sense when looked at as a whole, despite some dumb stuff. If you're a Zero Escape fan, give it a try.

What a bats**t plot (positive). This plot is worth far more than free. If you like VNs and this sounds interesting, I definitely recommend you checking it out. Might be FF's best

I backed this one on kickstarter and no regrets. I love a good BarPG and this one definitely is great alongside VA11HALLA and Coffee Talk fr.

I think there's probably a few QoL updates that would benefit Tavern Talk for sure, but overall I highly recommend this one, especially if you like those other games I mentioned above. Didn't get true ending but will play through it again later on to amend that.

Okay, hear me out. Take Hitman's Sniper Assassin mode, right? Combine it with DVD player ricochet screensaver, and add in a ton of really vibrant and cool art, and you get Children of the Sun. Short & cheap, but well worth the $15 imo

I'm not a D&D fan, so I'm not the biggest target audience for this game. And I admit, the combat in this game really doesn't do it for me at all. I got used to it at some point but there was a time midway through the game that I was considering bailing. I didn't though, because everything ELSE about the game reallllly works for me. I love a game that has big replay value, and I can easily see my future playthroughs feeling incredibly different from my first one, and that's something that really gets me attached to a game. The plot is pretty good, the characters are pretty good and memorable (and two of the main characters never joined my crew this time through, even)

so if that last bit appeals to you, I recommend sticking with the game even if you don't like the combat like me. And also, Act 3 is a significant improvement all around in the game. Once you get there, it really opens up and I feel a lot less like doing the main plot only. But if you ARE a D&D fan, I'm not sure you can go wrong here.

Every now and again I feel like playing a dating sim. And this is a good one! It's pretty formulaic in each of the routes, but all of the girls are entertaining and unique in their own ways.

that said, the protagonist goes down on all girls but Ichika. #JusticeforIchika she deserves better. but Mao best girl anyway. Also this game has an awful lot of common route. Even if in skip mode it's like "well I guess I'll just go make a sandwich while this goes" which is a shame. But, once you're actually in the heroine routes they're pretty good.

I was a kickstarter backer on this game since I've liked the webcomic for a long time. This was a fun RPG, to be sure! I found it to be very difficult at times, but with the right cheese it's doable. Would recommend for sure, especially if you like humor and a bit of a grind.

So far I've only completed one run, but the game is great! Lots of heart and humor throughout. Will deffo go after the true ending soon.

I loved this game last year when I played it on PS5, and now with my new PC I decided to snag it to test out the new setup and it's running flawlessly. I adore this game. It's definitely not for everybody but something about it really vibes with me, which is even more strange since I'm not really an FPS fan, nor do I like Arkane's previous stuff much. They just got the secret sauce on this one imo

I played through the game last year on switch, playing through it again on steam is tight as hell. I love this game very much, though it's certainly not for everyone. you gotta be down for a lot of repetition

but as a game think Zero Escape + Among us. good ♥♥♥♥
