One of the best puzzle game experiences i've had in quite a number of years. If you like Myst you will definitely love this game. The game is structured in a very similar way where each puzzle is essentially sequential and unlocking one thing will give you the tools to unlock another in a nice snowballing and satisfying way. I found the story to be super engaging and quite unique to the other games I can remember. The puzzle design in generally very satisfying and complex but not frustratingly so. There were a couple of times I got a little lost in what the next step was that I needed to complete but that was (similarly to Myst) because I wasn't using something I already had in the clever way to solve it. I think the only complaint I had was with the sound puzzle (you'll know which one when you get there) but it was something I was able to solve with a bit of trial and error.

Overall Score: 9.8 / 10

TLDR: Like Myst? Buy this game.

Super fun game if you enjoy these types of games. Definitely scratches that programming itch. I feel like it's pretty unique in the space since it's using an actual programming language (Javascript) in essentially full functionality. 10/10 would write scripts again.

Such a fun game. Love pretty much all aspects of it. Really reminds me of Slay The Spire in a lot of ways but has some unique concepts. Totally recommend picking it up.

It's so nice to play this game again. I've been playing Voobly for a little while but I always found it a bother to have to load up Voobly to play and also get my friends to download it. With DE now having a ton of nice to have features and expected support into the long future, it's so much more available to play with. Some people have had a ton of crashing and issues but outside of some small FPS issues early on my gaming experience, my experience in private matches and ranked have been pretty stellar. I've yet to take on any of the campaign content (which i've heard have had some issues) but even so I would 100% recommend this to anyone previously playing HD/Voobly or hell, if you never played AoE 2 now's the perfect time to jump in.

Highlights: One of my favorite features out of all the new stuff they have added is the Art of War tutorials. They are quite amazing for getting people up to par and ready to start taking on the harder AI and even progressing into ranked matches. They really do a number of lessening the learning curve of taking on a old RTS such as AoE where there are a lot of veterans in the ranked pool.

TLDR: Get this game if you like RTS. It's well worth the money.
