Much like the other kingdom rush games. Good quality game play and this is a nice port of the mobile version with an interesting take playing as the enemies. Well worth the money if you like the other Kingdom rush games or tower defense games.

Better version of the game than the mobile games. Easier to control with hot keys and some of the heroes don't look like micro transactions. Definitely a value if you liked the mobile games or tower defense in general.

These games are classics and this remaster does them justice. OpenRA kind of filled this void but this remaster one ups that with better graphics and the multiplayer steam support.

I don't remember the original game and conquer well enough to remember if it shared art/resources with Red Alert but that's the case with the remaster. They look like the same game. I would recommend playing the original remaster first as the mechanics are definitely a step down compared to Red Alert. I played Red Alert first and it was a painful adjustment to player a "lesser" game. There seems to be more content for the original game though.

I'm not necessarily a metroidvania game fan (although this game may have changed that) but I love this game. It starts out pretty blandly but as you progress through the game the charming biomes, monsters, and music make it delight. There's plenty of lore if you're into that, hard modes and challenges, and a fulfilling journey from start to end. This may be my new favorite game.
