==The Hasbro Description==
To say that Pinkie Pie marches to the beat of her own drum is certainly an understatement! Giggly, playful and brimming over with energy, it's not unusual to find this pink pony prancing and skipping joyfully through the streets looking for fun, doing cartwheels, singing a song in a silly voice and making up her own ridiculous lyrics. By far the silliest pony around, nothing makes her happier than evoking a giggle and a smile from her friends. She is the freest of free spirits, always acting on her whims, following her heart, talking your ear off and getting a laugh or two along the way.

==History from the mare herself==
Well, it all started when I was just a little filly growing up on the family rock farm, which was a very boring business anyways, I mean, who wants to grow ROCKS? You can't make delicious supertasty snacks out of plan old boring icky rocks. A sonic rainboom made me feel such joy though, and I wanted to smile forever and make everypony smile too! I threw my family my first ever party and we all had so much fun, that's when I got my cutie mark. But I grew up and left home, wound up in Ponyville, and work at Sugarcube Corner now making all the most awesomeriffic supertastical sweets for everypony and having the best parties ever!

==General Evaluation==
Pinkamena ("Pinkie") is a hyperactive and very unpredictable pony who loves to throw parties and sing, though not as much as snacking or just simple randomness. It's not often one can see Pinkamena actually calm or in any negative mood, it's sometimes said she doesn't even sleep, but that's just a false rumor. In truth, Pinkamena is socially insecure, and if she believes nopony wants to spend time with her or doesn't like her anymore she will fly off into fits of rage and complete insanity, and the unfortunate result is the myth of the "Lottery", where ponies are kidnapped and tortured in horrible ways to be made into food and clothing. But that is all just a sick myth, Pinkie values everypony far too much to ever willingly harm them.

==~An Analysis: The Pinkamena Complex~==
"Pinkamena", while still just Pinkie, is a completely different mental entity entirely. Where Pinkie is bubbly and bright, perky and happy, Pinkamena is grim and unstable, aggressive and possibly even dangerous. The existence of Pinkamena within Pinkie suggests mental issues, and further encourages the idea of a murderous mare of little to no moral value. Further study must be taken in this.
