Awful grindfest with bad UI and frustrating gameplay. not to mention the terrible economy.

Purchased thinking it was hammerwatch but with campaign. It is not. Lose items, gold, and keys upon death. Unless placed in an 'ore elevator,' which taxes you for saving your items. But not every level has them. 0/10

For some reason, they put the Seal the Deal OST in the B-side soundtrack, instead of the main one. Why? I paid for the OST, the Seal the Deal OST is an OST, not B-side.

Like pretty much everyone else has said, death wish is too hard, and has the story locked behind it. This new DLC has brought out some jank that was already in the base game. I've been running up flat walls, only to get stuck on an invisible ledge which shouldn't be there. Or umbrellas not facing you in the correct direction whilst bouncing on them. Can't forget the camera you constantly fight to get a good view. Or the loose controls that seem to make you land anywhere except where you actually want. These issues make challenge levels nearly impossible to complete, let alone the bonuses. These issues should have been fixed before a challenge mode was even considered. It seems as though the devs got so good at their own game, they lost all frame of reference for standard players.

Update: There was a patch 2 hours after release, which has made the story playable without completing challenges.

Update: Jank still not fixed. Does not accept button presses, Still running into invisible ledges that don't appear after running up the same wall in the same spot. Challenges still nearly impossible, even with easy mode. Specifically, bird sanctuary. How anyone is supposed to get to the top without birds getting hurt by -anything- is beyond me. But the devs are so adamant that their challenges are possible, they refuse to change some challenges. And waiting 5 minutes to retry a challenge? Who's bright idea was that? If I hadn't gotten this DLC for free, I would be demanding a refund. This game is absolutely not complete, and still needs lots of work.
