In a world ravaged by the collapse of civilization, Vat made a promise to gift a rare Karambit Fade knife to a friend. It was a weapon of legendary beauty, known for its vibrant colors, and Vat swore to find it, no matter the cost. But shortly after, during a violent raid by the Iron Vultures, the knife was stolen, and Vat's journey to reclaim it began.

The wasteland was a brutal, unforgiving place. Vat spent years following every lead and chasing whispers of the blade’s whereabouts, fighting through dust storms, poisoned rivers, and ruined cities. The knife, once stolen from Vat, passed through many hands, each person using it for their own brutal purposes.

First, the blade ended up with Rika, a cunning smuggler who found it in a forgotten skyscraper. She didn’t know its true value at first but quickly realized its worth. She used it to cut down enemies and barter with nomads. Eventually, the Karambit Fade became a symbol of power, and Rika’s life ended violently in a skirmish with the Marauders, a ruthless warband.

Next, the blade was seized by Jax, the leader of a raider group. He was notorious for using it to torture and kill his enemies, carving his name into their flesh. But his reign ended when the Marauders attacked and killed him, scattering his group, and once again, the knife vanished into the chaos.

As years passed, Vat never gave up the search. His skin became weathered, and his body bore the scars of countless battles, but the promise remained. He fought alongside scavengers, swam through poisoned lakes, and made uneasy alliances, all the while chasing the Karambit Fade. He was determined to fulfill his vow.

His search eventually led him to Tomas, a former soldier who had once been in possession of the Karambit Fade. Tomas had kept it as a relic from the past, a final gift from his deceased brother. But the wasteland had eroded Tomas’s sanity. He believed the knife was cursed, bringing ruin to anyone who owned it. Tomas had hidden the Karambit, burying it in the desert sands.

Vat spent days tracking Tomas down, finding him in a half-collapsed shelter, his mind broken. Tomas, realizing Vat’s unwavering resolve, finally surrendered the blade to him. With the Karambit Fade in his possession, Vat faced the hardest part of his journey: the final trek across the wasteland to deliver it.

Ravaged by storms and pursued by marauders, Vat pushed forward, driven by the promise he had made. His friend awaited in a secluded settlement, and Vat’s determination to keep that promise kept him going. After years of suffering and searching, Vat finally arrived at his destination.

When Vat presented the Karambit Fade to his friend, the blade was more than just a weapon—it was a symbol of survival, struggle, and the years of hardship that had shaped Vat into who he had become. His friend, gazing at the knife, understood immediately.

“Four and a half years,” his friend whispered, taking in the blade’s history.

“More than that,” Vat replied, his voice steady. “It took a lifetime.”

After a good game in csgo, i added him because he seemed like a cool guy. We got chatting, over the next couple of months we became good friends. Lots of banter, lots of great CS and most importantly true friendship.
He invited me to his house for a csgo lan party. I accepted the invite and he said that he was looking forward to meeting me in real life.
