EDIT: This is by far the second most fun Roguelike that I play. It still has a couple of funny bugs/glitches, one of which being a coding or engine error with analogue input devices making you move faster on the diagonal, but this can be a useful strategy for fast navigation just zigzagging around.

The frequency of updates is brilliant, and the clear love for the game that the developer has.

I will preface this with I was given this game by one of my twitch followers.



Ignore the bad reviews they are just mad about the launch day rush. The longest I have had to wait in any queue was 5 minutes.

The three most impressive parts are the Echo mapping and the fact when you catch a fish, what you see in the water is the actual fish you have caught. The cooking system uses actual recipes for the higher tier foods. Venison steak for example is venison, butter, pepper, salt. That, that right there is how you cook venison in the real world.

This is a hell of a lot of fun to play, in spite of the niggling issues like changin desktop resolution. This can be overcome by not being a brainlet.

Pick this game up if you want to have both fun and a frustrating time on the later bosses, it gets haaaaard near the end.

Run around, almost die a thousand times, loop through and through and through, get to the point where you are near immortal and aren't taking damage, suddenly an enemy spawns that doesn't care about your items because it causes a black hole and dumps you to the end of time.

11/10 bloody awesome :3
