Fast paced shooters never did it for me until I played this.

Between optimising your routes, utilising the weapons and their discards, manoeuvring the super clever levels and their shortcuts, and taking in the games stunning visuals, and soundtrack. Its one of the best indie titles I've ever played, let alone FPS games.

If you're thinking about trying this game about because it looks neat, or you've heard the insane soundtrack, give it a shot.

Although I can't say I recommend the story and script in the grand scheme, Neon White stands on its own merits in gameplay, artistic direction, and music, that the simple story and corny dialogue doesn't take much away at all.

Turn the music all the way up, and just go nuts.

Incredibly unique, and in a league of its own.

Crawl is a clever blend of a competitive party game, and an action based dungeon crawler. One round of this game with 1, 2 or 3 friends, is enough to see entirely what the game is about, however there is plenty of depth in what can be unlocked.

The game is super unique, and the atmosphere delivered right off the bat carries throughout by the narrator, the setting, and the monsters that look to earn their shot at humanity again, to play on the trope of; hero kills big bad monster and saves the world. Mechanically its well balanced, and often advantages in the game can be attributed to luck of the room, or focusing on the Hero side of the game play, or a monster victory, working with the others who inevitably die as a hero. There are some hero builds that can be inherently strong, but it doesn't feel impossible to win for either side.

Its one of those games that the longer you play, the more you want mod/steam workshop support for it, having the ability to throw in, or create new gods, monsters, items, rooms, and bosses into the mix of the game, would add so much content, appeal and replayability, especially with the game already leaning into this with its wild easter eggs.

Absolutely check this out if its on sale and you want to try something new alone, or with friends, excellent game.

If you are into Dungeon Crawler type games, Its worth it.
If you are into the Rogue Lite genre, its worth it.
If you are into Rhythm Games, its ABSOLUTELY worth it.
If you are even considering purchasing this game because you think it looks even the slightest bit interesting, do it.
I seriously can't do this brilliant indie title enough justice, this game from the ground up is a model for what indie games these days should be, from the unique items, to the enemy design, and the perfectly placed difficulty curve. It makes this game all the more addicting and challenging.
Thats not even mentioning the unbelievable music, Danny B. completely outdid himself.
If you are into anything I mentioned above, give this game a shot, and you will not be dissapointed.
