Giving it a thumbs up since the game from a mechanical and gameplay perspective of it is entertaining and multiplayer is fun. It plays like Hades, it looks like Hades. Combat is fine although can be overwhelming at times and some telegraphing of attacks could use improvements. Later stages of the game basically require you to have the double dash upgrade and some midbosses feel way too tanky for no reason. The variety of spell/weapon loadouts is cool and keeps things fresh

Thumbs down for copying every aspect of Hades except for the storytelling, which I feel was a strong part about why Hades was very popular. Unlike Hades, I feel like I don't really have a good grasp of why I am doing the things I am doing in this game. The characters you play as don't have a real motivation other than to carry out Merlin's wishes, so you feel more like a robot than an adventurer really. The lore and storytelling in this game is lacking and I wish we got to know more about the npcs and bosses that you interact with as you progress.

tldr gameplay wise its fine, story wise if you are going to copy hades at least go all the way and give your game a story that is just as present as it is in your source material
