This game certainly isn't a polished gem.
Since its Translation is a bit off, it can be hard to grasp the Story at times. There are certainly some Bugs.
That said, I can't deny I had plenty of fun with the game.
The Controls, while certainly not the tightest, feel good to get a hold of - You know where you are going. Combat is surprisingly fun, and though difficulty on the bosses is all over the place, it is nonetheless very satisfying to beat up a boss with ease or finally manage to defeat one that has been killing you for the past half-hour.

It compares closely to the Momodora series (Particularly Reverie under the Moonlight), so if you can't get enough of those, consider picking this one up. If you haven't played Reverie under the Moonlight, you might wanna give that one a shot before you buy Successor of the Moon, though.

This game certainly has it's Issues, mainly in terms of Level Design.
But (with the exception of 1) I very much like every Powerup in the Game, as they have both Utility AND Combat uses.
The Combat Mechanics are one of the best of any Metroidvania I have ever played (and thats a fairly long list).
Admittedly, I am a sucker for Time Manipulation Mechanics, but they are pulled off so well in this game and feel so natural, both in Combat and for the Occasional puzzle-platforming challenge, I can't help but love them.
I just wish the game was Longer and had more interesting level design. Those really are my only complaints.

Easily the most Valuable few Bucks I've ever Spent.
