Music: fantastic.

Gameplay: godawful gimmicks without end.

If you like rhythm games, give this one a miss entirely and just listen to the soundtrack.

A beautiful, somewhat melancholic game, with a decent lot of approachable but not trivial puzzles to get through.

Does not support d-pads at all, which makes downwards attacks extremely unreliable, which makes a certain challenge essentially impossible to complete. I was enjoying it up until that point but now I'm uninstalling it. They promised a fix in 2018 and three years later they haven't done a thing to fix it.

Early Access Review
Terrible cash grab of a game. The highest pack gives literally more than three years' worth of tokens if you were to gain them the normal way. Made it to prestige (boiler) and the gain from it was utterly pathetic as well.

Not worth your time.

The bonus chapter is worth buying this for even without the soundtrack.

It gets a lot of the late-90s stuff right, but I was expecting more than just "chat to two different girls about stupid relationship bollocks".

A story about a little cat dude trying to fix a foreign land and go home, and his interactions with you, the player, as the game proceeds to tear the fourth wall down.

Compelling and not a little emotional, OneShot is definitely worth playing.

One of the most enjoyable point-and-click adventure games I have played in recent years, right up until the most dissatisfying ending I've encountered in even longer. The game desperately needs another chapter, but it's nonetheless still good enough to recommend.
