🕵️ Town of Salem

A social deduction classic 🔪. If you’ve ever enjoyed Mafia or Werewolf with friends, this is that experience brought to PC — with a huge variety of roles, abilities, and chaotic fun.

Every match is different: you might be the Sheriff catching killers 🕵️, the Serial Killer stabbing in the dark 🔪, the Jester trolling the town 🤡, or dozens of other roles. The variety keeps things fresh and unpredictable.

👥 The real fun comes from interacting with other players. Bluffing, lying, accusing, and convincing others makes for some hilarious and intense moments. With friends, it’s amazing; with random lobbies, it can be hit-or-miss (toxic or silent players can ruin the vibe 😬).

📜 Games are quick (10–20 min), easy to learn but hard to master. It’s dangerously addicting to play “just one more.”

⚠️ Downsides: the UI is dated, and the community can sometimes be rough. But overall, this game nails the formula.

❌ Sadly, the sequel (Town of Salem 2) is a big downgrade ⚰️. It feels bloated, unbalanced, and loses the simple charm that made the first game so good. If you want the best experience, stick with the original.

✅ Pros:

Tons of roles & variety 🎭

Fun and chaotic social deduction

Quick, addicting matches

Perfect with friends

❌ Cons:

UI feels old

Random lobbies can be toxic 😬

Sequel is much worse

👉 Verdict: 8/10 – A great online party game for fans of Mafia/Werewolf. Still the best version of the formula — don’t bother with the sequel "Town of Salem 2", which is a worse game. 🎭🔥

🩸 Outlast

One of the scariest horror experiences out there 👻. If you like feeling powerless, running for your life, and hiding in lockers while praying the monster doesn’t find you… this game nails it.

The atmosphere is absolutely terrifying 😱 — dark hallways, creepy sounds, and a constant feeling of dread. The story is disturbing and unfolds through documents and exploration, giving it that “found footage” vibe 🎥.

⚠️ Be prepared: you can’t fight back. Your only options are run, hide, or die. That makes encounters with enemies so much more intense. At times it feels unfair, but it keeps your heart racing.

🔋 The camcorder mechanic is iconic — using night vision to see in the dark is brilliant but stressful since batteries run out quickly. Managing them adds another layer of tension.

⏳ The length is fine ( ~8 hours or more). It doesn’t overstay its welcome, and by the end, you’ll be both exhausted and satisfied. If you enjoyed this, the sequels (Outlast 2 and The Outlast Trials) build on the same formula.

✅ Pros:

Pure horror atmosphere 👻

Tense gameplay, always on edge

Night vision mechanic is genius

Good length, doesn’t drag

❌ Cons:

No combat — not for everyone

Some chase sequences feel unfair 😬

A bit linear

👉 Verdict: 8/10 – One of the best survival horror games. Play it at night with headphones… if you dare 🔦🎧.

🎮 Beyond: Two Souls

This is more of an interactive movie than a classic game — and that’s exactly where its strength lies. The story is a real rollercoaster 🎢 with emotional highs and lows, plus some solid plot twists that keep you hooked. Jodie’s journey is memorable and worth experiencing.

✨ For a 2013 release, the graphics still look surprisingly good. Facial animations, environments, and atmosphere are strong enough to hold up even today.

🖥️ Now the big downside: PC controls. Playing with keyboard & mouse feels clunky, unintuitive, and sometimes downright frustrating ❌. Quick-time events especially suffer. But plug in an Xbox or PlayStation controller 🎮 and the whole experience improves a lot — this is how the game was clearly designed to be played.

⏳ The length feels just right: not too long, not too short. Enough time to get invested in the characters without dragging things out. If you’ve played Heavy Rain or Detroit: Become Human, you’ll feel right at home. It doesn’t quite reach Detroit’s polish, but it’s still a strong Quantic Dream title and I'll be playing it again in the REMIXED Story Mode.

✅ Pros:

Emotional story with twists & good pacing

Graphics & atmosphere still hold up

Good length for this style of game

❌ Cons:

PC controls are a pain 😬

A couple of slower and too long chapters

👉 Verdict: 8/10 – A flawed but memorable interactive drama. Worth it if you enjoy story-driven games. Just remember: use a controller, as the PC controls are a big no-no! 🎮

The fact that I had to close the game by ALT+F4 because there was no obvious way to bring up the pause menu says a lot about their UX team. All the cars are modified with a widebody kit and all cars look like a cra*py Honda Civic you would see at a JDM party. The graphics are bad and I can't get more than 35 FPS for whatever reason. The fact that I need Origin installed and running in order to be able to run the game is also a stupid thing. I feel like the 3 Steam Cards dropping during the gameplay are more valuable for me than the actual game.

For the 3.5 Euros Ive paid for this game, I feel scammed.
