Early Access Review
I've played this game for a good amount of time I believe and can give my honest review.

The mining isn’t something I’m a big fan of, and I hope they improve it in future patches.

The game itself feels huge, but also a bit empty. Maybe that’s just the starting area, so I’m not sure yet.

Combat can feel a little clunky at times, but overall it’s decent.
The ship battles I feel like should have a tutorial for someone who's never played a game like this but regardless to say with time it gets better!

The gameplay is good, and the story seems fine so far.

Overall, I would recommend this to gamers who want to explore a pirate-style world. You can play it completely offline or with friends, which is a nice bonus.

One of the best pirate RPGs out right now, in my opinion.
7/10 for now.

Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden is probably the best installment in the series.

First of all, it gives off strong Yoko Taro vibes, as he is the creative director behind all three Voice of Cards games. So be prepared for an emotional and psychologically roller coaster.

Now, onto the review.

The story is very good and is probably the main thing that kept me going. You get to experience friendship, uncover the truth about the world, and understand why everyone behaves the way they do.

Story, in my opinion, is a 10/10.

Combat is turn-based TRPG or if you prefer, turn-based RPG with card-style mechanics, which I personally love, and I had a lot of fun with it here as well. I would honestly give it a 10/10, but the gacha-style treasure drops you get after defeating enemies are very random and inconsistent. Sometimes it got so frustrating that I alt+F4’d out of the game. Because of that, I’d rate combat an 8/10.

The only thing I really dislike is the Game Parlor vendor and his poker minigame. The AI feels pretty bad there, so I’d give that part a 1/10. However, the fact that you can play multiplayer poker in the Game Parlor is actually pretty cool, so I’d bump it up to a 4/10.

Overall, it’s a very enjoyable game, especially for fans of Yoko Taro’s works like NieR and Drakengard.

Ok, now this game…
I feel like this game doesn’t know when to age.
It’s still amazing, and although I’ve only recently started, I can already play the class I had in mind.
It offers so many classes, and you can even just button mash.
I’m not too familiar with the current PvP. Back in 2017, it was good, but apparently it isn’t anymore, so I can’t say much about it right now.

I wanna point out that I played this Demo expecting it to be another ARPG that was just here.
After playing it I can say that the devs have an idea about it and I do like the terrain altering skill-blast. Regardless to say the stashing of equipement and co. was not my cup of tea and while some areas are "DARKER" than the beginning area I expected it to be a little more... dark-er.
Colors are fine and good but if you portrait a dark type of ARPG then I want everything to be covered in noir.
The game is very early Alpha and looks pretty promising!

Sometimes it's fun sometimes it's not.
The Gundam collab is cool tho so I do recommend it.
Overall the game has improved a lot (last played 2020)

SKRRAAAGHHH!!! 💥💥💥

Borderlands 4 is like stuffing a skag full of grenades and riding it into the sun while dual-wielding shotguns made of pure loot juice! Guns everywhere! Explosions everywhere! My EARS are bleeding and my HEART is smiling! ❤️🔫

The movement? I can JUMP twice! I can GLIDE like a majestic psycho-pigeon! I can GRAPPLE enemies into my loving chainsaw hugs! The loot is shinier than my freshly polished meat-helmet!

Yes, sometimes the game stutters, like my brain when I try to count past three, but WHO CARES—it just launched and Gearbox will slap a patch on it like duct tape on a screaming vault hunter!

FINAL VERDICT:
9/10 psycho screams. Game good. Game fun. Game makes me want to high-five a skag in the FACE with a rocket launcher. BUY IT, OR I’LL LICK YOUR EYEBALLS.

-------------------------------------------
tbh I understand all these negative reviews but the game just launched I am sure Gearbox will throw a patch up real quick to address all the issues, I would say either way till they patch it or bite through and get ready for some stuttering and fps drops. Regardless the game is noice

Mortimens is eating my free time alive (in the best way possible)

I’ve only just started playing, but I’ve already clocked 20+ hours without even realizing it, and I’m completely hooked. If you like roguelike deckbuilders, card games, or gacha mechanics, this game somehow smashes them all together AND throws in horror vibes that make it feel totally unique.

The runs are super addicting—I've never lost so far but if I would lose, I would probably or instantly want to start another one because there are so many different ways to build and experiment. The characters and their card variety are great, and it always feels like there’s some new synergy to discover. It nails that “just one more try” loop perfectly.

Now let’s talk about the gacha: this has to be the most generous gacha game I’ve ever touched. No joke, I’ve had so many pulls that I’ve managed to grab almost all the characters I wanted already. It actually feels rewarding to play instead of stingy, which is so rare in gacha-style games. It keeps me excited to log in and see what I’ll get next.

And the horror atmosphere? Chef’s kiss. The characters are creepy in all the right ways, with just enough unsettling charm that you actually want to meet them all. The setting and vibe give the game so much personality—like a spooky storybook mixed with a nightmare carnival.

Overall: Mortimens is dark, stylish, generous, and dangerously addicting. If you’re into deckbuilders or roguelikes and want something with a horror twist that actually rewards your time, I can’t recommend this enough.

10/10 would let Mortimens consume 200 hours+ of my life.

Orcs Must Die 3: Welcome to the Ultimate Orc Extermination Circus!

Imagine if someone told you, “Hey, wanna set up a deathtrap theme park and watch thousands of dumb orcs get absolutely obliterated in the most ridiculous ways possible?” Well, that’s Orcs Must Die 3, and it’s the best bad idea I’ve ever loved.

I’m talking exploding barrels, spike walls, freezing death lasers, and giant mechanical fists punching orcs like they owe me rent. Every time an orc tries to stroll through my carefully crafted nightmare, it’s like a slapstick comedy — except with way more blood and screaming.

Playing solo? You’re a one-person orc-slaying machine. Playing co-op? It’s chaos squared, with both of us giggling like maniacs while the orcs flail around trying to survive the carnage.

If you want a game where you’re basically a sadistic inventor of orc torture devices and the orcs are your unwilling, screaming test subjects — this is it. I’m convinced the developers snuck some orc hatred in here because nothing else explains this much fun. :3

⭐ 10/10 – Orcs beware: I’m coming for you with a lawnmower, a flamethrower, and a very twisted sense of humor.

Diablo 4 Review:
You ever microwave a burrito, bite into it, and one side is lava and the other is still frozen? That’s Diablo 4.

Some days, I’m slashing through dungeons like a dark fantasy John Wick. Loot is dropping. Skills are popping. Demons are crying. Life is good.
Other days? I spend 45 minutes running across a barren map to turn in a quest where the reward is a pair of pants worse than the ones I’m already wearing… and somehow uglier.

🧙‍♂️ The Good:
Combat feels crunchy and satisfying when it clicks.

Skill trees give you cool ways to ruin Hell’s day.

World bosses are like epic raid bosses with ADHD.

The atmosphere? Top-notch. I don’t know who hurt the art team, but they poured every ounce of that trauma into this world. It’s gorgeous. AND WE LOVE MOMMY LILITH.

🧟‍♀️ The Meh:
Story is fine… not bad, not mind-blowing.

Level scaling makes you feel like you’re never actually getting stronger. You just get different ways to do the same damage.

The new battlepass system sucks... at least for me.

The Hellish:
“Fun” is scheduled between long stretches of "meh" and "why am I doing this?"

Inventory management feels like Tetris with emotional damage.

Sometimes the loot feels like it was randomly generated by a cat walking across the keyboard.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

After spending 85+ hours in Naraka: Bladepoint, I can honestly say it's one of the most unique and exhilarating battle royales out there. The fast-paced melee combat, fluid parkour system, and a rich roster of heroes make every match feel fresh and skill-driven.

The NieR and Persona collabs were personal highlights—those events were beautifully done, offering both amazing aesthetics and thematic depth. As a fan of both series, I really appreciated how much effort went into making them feel like more than just skin packs.

Visually, the game is stunning. From misty mountains to ornate temples, the environments are rich and immersive. The hero variety and loadout options give players a lot of room to experiment and master different playstyles.

That said, it’s not without flaws. Skins and cosmetics, while high-quality, can be pretty pricey—especially when it comes to limited event items. Also, matchmaking without bots can be hit or miss, particularly outside peak hours or in certain regions. It can sometimes break immersion when you’re clearly fighting AI in early matches.

Still, if you’re looking for a stylish, skill-based battle royale that isn’t just another gunfest, Naraka is absolutely worth your time. The devs are committed to regular updates and content drops, and the community is steadily growing. I’ll definitely keep playing.
