An experienced Hearts of Iron IV player here. Having a great time annexing territory to paint the world in my colour.

Best strategy game!!

Both historically accurate and alternate history. Which way you play it, it will always be enjoyable.

No Man's Sky, with a disasterous start has built its way to becoming the ultimate space survival adventure game. There are a lot of great things about the game, but there still needs to be improvements to make the game more enjoyable to play.

Pros:
Great visuals - Planets look stunning, from both afar and on the planet. With the improved graphics and the new rings around planets you can experience the joy of eye candy.

Unlimited World - With infinite planets to adventure when you play No Man's Sky, there is a lot to explore. Each planet has unique creatures, plants and minerals. Each planet has different resources which are used for crafting, trading and fixing broken ships or machinery. You can find Copper and Phosphorus on one planet, and you may need to travel to another planet to get Cobalt and Uranium. The gameplay urges you to explore different planets and galaxies.

Quests - You have a main quest which is 30 hours long. I have not completed it yet, but it is engaging to do the main quest. Furthermore, there are missions you can do on the side which allow you to earn rewards such as items, money or even a freighter.

Cons:
Combat - There is a lack of combat in this game, there is all these unique creatures on these planets but none of them will attack you or each other. The only things that attack you on the planets are sentinels (flying robots which protect resources) and
the Biological Horror (which come out when you break a whispering egg). There is enough space combat, but it can be difficult to control your aim when in your starship. The enemies can attack from any angle and at any time.

Structures - There are structures that you will see as you adventure around a planet which is the same on every planet. It would be nice to see more variation in shape, size and colour with a different range of interior (eg. The Observatory).

Aliens - The range of aliens are good, however I would like to see them moving around. It feels lifeless when they just stand there. There should be events where aliens land onto the planet you are on and gather resources with their multi-tool. Or combat with different creatures and aliens.

Deeper planets - When you use the terrain-manipulator tool to dig down, you will quickly be stopped. It would be nice if they made it deeper with structures and minerals underground. There are caves in the game but they are also restricted by how low they can go and it is easy to walk in, collect vortex cubes and walk out and sell them.

I got this day one on xbox 360 and transfered it over to the PC. Good story. Could do with a single player DLC. GTA online is great but it is a grind unless you want to buy microtransactions.
