Uninstalled game.

Truly a Ubisoft moment.

Loved the game at first but then a pop-up via the Rockstar's launcher caused all of my saves to be deleted, losing me 80hrs of progress in story mode and I was almost done with it too.

Update:
Ended up re-playing it all again and have finished the epilogue. I balled my eyes out :)

I need moreeeeeeeee. Visually stunning with a brilliant soundtrack and narration, I felt like I was watching a immersive movie. One thing I have noticed is that the devs have toned down the puzzle side to the game and have focused more on narration and visuals. Personally this is something I don't mind but I have seen others who aren't happy with this. One thing I really liked was the seamless transitions between scenes which is similar to God of War, this ended up really helping with the flow of narration. My only complaint is that the ending is somewhat abrupt. Like I said I NEED MORE. I also can't wait for Heilung to release the soundtrack they were working on for this game. I really hope to see more of Senua's Saga in the future.

Democracy is the best policy.

On a more serious note, if you do want to buy this game I would wait until the devs have fixed the connectivity & server issues properly. Personally I've experienced very little disconnects, but this will vary with every player on each platform. Performance wise (other than connectivity issues) game runs great and looks amazing with ultra settings. Though my utmost favourite thing about the game is the constant explosions and destruction :).

(Wilbert Roget, II needs to release the "A Cup of Liber-Tea" on Spotify plsssss)

As for the devs, It's nice to see that they are actually enthusiastic about their game and aren't shilling it through mass amounts of micro transactions unlike other companies I know of (you know which ones), So far they have been working on fixing multiple issues since day one and I can see that they are struggling with the servers, this is why I am recommending to wait to buy the game until the main bugs are fixed.

As of right now you can join friends you have added and play/join with them that way, but as for matchmaking, it seems to have been placed offline to manage the sever backlog. (Devs have released a patch as of 20/02/24 which is meant to alleviate some of the issues I have stated in the game).

Side note: I've seen people asking for a PVP mode and I don't think you'll see it added to this game. I don't think the devs are interested in making the game a mixed pvpve. Destiny tried that and we've seen how that game turned out. Plus there is already friendly fire in the game so I guess you can do it that way if you want

In all, I would definitely recommend the game to anyone who enjoys democracy, liber-tea and mass destruction.

Good story game to play in free time and is more directed at people who are more into story and adventure. There were a few environmental bugs, but nothing that ruins the play-through experience. The scenery throughout the game was beautiful, though a flashlight could've been nice in some areas of the map. The story is a short one, nothing astronomically life changing but good none the less, though the ending does seem a little abrupt. I would've liked too have seen further game-play exploring the aftermath of the situation.

Edit: Now that I've actually read the book (Stanisław Lem - The Invincible), I can confidently say that this is a brilliant spin off. Definitely recommended for those who love anything sci-fi.

I've also recently noticed the devs have actively been working constantly to remove bugs and improve the overall performance and quality of the game. Considering release wasn't that long ago it's nice to see the devs paying attention to player feedback. So props to them. :)
