It's a fun game, made in the grimdark ikea factories of Sweden and self published by its Devs. As a result it's a buggy mess sometimes. It had Redshell, which was bad, and now it doesn't. It has no function to specifically make Kerillian stop talking. Some decisions are not so great.

The core gameplay is top-notch however, I play this with my friends more than anything else. It has enormous replayability and the team work and timing required at higher levels makes it extremely rewarding. The company didn't release on-release DLC. They finished the game, patched it 20 to get it to actualy work then worked on the DLC. Which is really the way ya oughta do it. No one wants to buy half a game and then buy the other half for a nominal fee*.

It's a good game if you wanted something like Left 4 Dead with a harder edge to it... and rats.

The premise of this game is "Gather green rocks with this team of guys and grow attached to them, but not too attached because they'll either die or lose so many limbs they'll be unfit for combat. Hire news ones, repeat the process."

I like it but if you're one of those guys that loads every time they lose a guy in xcom this miiiight not be your brand of sherry.

Game's decent enough, its a translation of a board game so its basically like playing a board game with loot boxes and a crafting system. I find these irksome and an excuse to not add any depth or really try with the story telling aspects of the game, which is something they could have easily shored up on a video game release with a bit of theatrics.

The game prompted me to review it inside the game, like some kind of half-baked mobile game, so I am reviewing it negatively so as to not promote that kind of behavior.

Basically they added nothing but time wasters into the game but they could totally be arsed to hardwire review nagging?

It's a mech game. You take what you get with those these days, they're very few and far between.
However, it's also an AMAZING mech game. The campaign has a lot of well designed levels and the freelance mode allows you to customize quite a bit deal with some rough challenges.

I really like this game. I do not care for its pricing policy for DLC, but the DLC isn't terribly necessary to play as I picked up some here and there. Having never played a Total War game it took a bit of learning but it is a fun mix of 4x elements where you upgrade your empire and troops and move them across a world in a turn based fashion, until armies attack eachother and then it goes into a real-time battlefield. Also the replay function is great.

When you load it up it'll feel like you're playing a pre-alpha early access title, there is very little polish and there's not much endearing to make up for that. I feel like this game does little to match up to the fairly well established market for this genre. (its not like mecha sims where you honestly just take what you can get these days)

This game board game is atrocious, I beat everyone else to the end game bit and then spent the next hour and a half stuck on it while everyone else was still in the outer rim. Just countering my Crown-spell that has a 50/50 shot of even doing anything to begin with.
This game was so bad, I stopped being friends with the person that gave it to me.

Picked it up for 20 on sale because bad reviews. Better than I thought it was going to be, about par for the course with Human Revolution but buggier.
