Once thought to be lost forever, ROUTINE manages to keep that creative spark seen in the reveal over 12 years ago and spin it into a genuinely thrilling, melancholic and surprisingly complex tale. Phenomenal environmental storytelling, sound design and attention to detail come together to make one of the most immersive experiences I've ever played in a video game - Where even the most mundane areas and objects are all suited to the setting and time. Priced appropriately for its length, the story doesn't outstay its welcome and wraps up before it ever begins to drag. Even after going through development hell, Lunar Software have proven that they are outstanding creatives and are committed to giving their vision the dedication and time needed to shine.

One of the most phenomenal modding projects to ever come out of the Halflife Community. The sheer amount of gameplay and environmental variety alone is well above anything I've seen in Halflife 2 and its episodes, surely such a grand time doesn't deserve to be free.

I remember backing this damn thing in Middle-school, I'm as shocked as anyone else to see it finally come to fruition. Big congrats to Krinkles for managing to get this out for the world to see, despite all the delays. This game has come a long, long way since I got my hands on the beta - and now it has evolved into something that I believe is worth jumping into even if you don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the cartoon series.

If you're like me and played Human Revolution or Mankind divided before the original, buy this NOW. Although I was introduced to Deus Ex through its prequels, just playing through the first hour cememted why I loved them so much. While the game is amazing as-is, I'd heavily reccomend installing GMDX, which is a masterfully completed gameplay overhaul of the original, fixing bugs and weaving in new features.

I've been playing Prey for the last few days now (Although I would have preffered the original Prey 2 over this), and I can safely say that this game is 75% worth your money and 15% worth your time. This game takes much more direct inspiration from System Shock 2 than the original Prey, which (Being a big System Shock nerd), I don't have any problems with. What I DO have problems with tend to be either game-breaking bugs, or just bad game design. For example, I've been in several situations where I was being persued by a group of aliens, and needed to use one of the automated turrets to defend myself. When attempting to pick up and place the turret, the game gives me 3 options:

(F TO PICK UP)

(F TO HACK)

(F TO REPAIR)

You can probably see the problem there. The latter 2 options you actually need to HOLD f, but the game makes sure not to tell you that. Due to this, I ended up accidently hacking turrets when I didn't want to, leading to a waste of my time along with my character taking rather silly amounts of damage. This could have been avoided if the player could simply EXIT the hacking screen, but I guess that was too far out of Bethesda's abilities.
