Amazing game. Hits so many high points for me as far as crafting, gathering, environment, etc.
Very well thought out and enjoyable. Even some of the strangely clunky combat that's circa 2000's RPG is wonderfully nostalgic.

I think path of exile is really what a lot of people who enjoy a hack and slash adventure similar to diablo were waiting for. Sure diablo 3 came out and blah blah blizzard issues and updates. But this game in my opinion is really how it should be.

Perks:
-Beautiful skills trees that are fully customizable (Reminds me of the grid system from final fantasy 10)
-Very smooth combat, not choppy awkward attack speeds and casts
-A pretty solid storyline that is only growing with the future updates and at a relatively good pace too!
-Wonderful graphics, but still capable for older computers to play on lower settings.

cons:
-I wish there was an auction house :P
-there's a lot of purchaseables that I'm not a fan of in a game like this.
-It can be exceptionally hard and unforgiving to solo.

Rift has a wonderfully active, and interactive community. Not only are there plenty of players to always have someone to team up with. The world is constantly shifting and activating zone events for players from all around to team up for. It's just an MMORPG that a lot of other companies could take notes from in my opinion. There is ALWAYS something to do in this game.
