How blatant can Valve be? Seriously? So instead of the spike they have something called a "bomb"? Instead of abilities they have "nades mollies and smokes". Instead of agents it's terrorists and counter-terrorists? What is this the 1970s? It's almost as if they copied but halfway through they got lazy and just released the game. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Akame Ga Kill. The themes are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical political corruption most of the subjects will go over typical viewer's heads. There's also Esdeath's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Social Darwinism, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these storytelling techniques, to realise that they're not just philosophical, they say something deep about LIFE and the state of the Government. As a consequence people who dislike Akame Ga Kill truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the philosophy in Esdeath's existential catchphrase "The strong survive and the weak die" which itself is a cryptic reference to Herbert Spencer's phrase "Survival of the fittest".
