Good fun, micro gets a little tedious by the endgame.

had a great time, but economy is shallow and steamrolling is almost automatic

feels like Terraria but the other 2D. Incorporates Rimworld mechanics really well to town management with such incredible QoL features. The "main" boss progression (before incursions) felt a little short and easy, and the cave systems felt repetitive and need better generation, so it more often feels like exploring and less often feels like running for 10 feet, digging for 10, and looking for one of three actually unique underground POIs.

Overall, a really fun playthrough that could use more depth, better world gen, and more intriguing reasons to explore.

tbh I haven't gotten too deep into odyssey specifically bc ive been so distracted in just starting another world in this incredible game

idk why everyone is praising this so much- it's Stellaris with most of the features missing. Ships leveling is done well, other than that there isn't much going on, and the snowball is crazy. Tech is weird and unsatisfying, too.
