This is an utterly demented experience. It has the Harry Potter 1 PC game vibes down pat except with more cruise missiles and more physics bugs.

This game's hopelessly addictive with a slick gameplay loop and sweet aesthetic, even in this early state. I've only had the game crash on me once which is impressive too.

Why does this game?

I know that's not a good question, but why?
This game is very oddly held on a pedestal by other Sonic the Hedgehog fans but I really don't see it. It's a strange, confused game with a mishmash of styles (such as overcoloured pixel art with scaling like Mega Drive 32X games, CD audio like a Mega CD game, strange polygonal Saturn-but-not-quite graphics in some places), overly large and sprawling stages, a lot of weird sudden gameplay changes (like being expected to be competent at Puyo Puyo for one gimmicky boss), random fanservice for the sake of fanservice, incredibly difficult special stages which take off the CD special stages and make them worse...
a lot of ideas thrown at the wall... but nothing sticking.

I'd rather play a game that's consistently decent (Sonic 3 and Knuckles) than a game that's fun in fits and starts and strangely bad in other places.

I accidentally refunded this game yet I still frickin' love this game.

8/10 would cry on ♥♥♥♥ again

This is just one of those games made in RPG Maker VX Ace in a month or two... at least put a LITTLE effort into it...
