John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

A prayer for the poor in spirit
Heavenly Father,
I come before you acknowledging my total dependence on You. My own strength, wisdom, and righteousness are nothing without Your grace. Lord, I pray that you would make me poor in spirit—humble and teachable, trusting not in myself but fully in You.
Remove pride and self-sufficiency from my heart. Clothe me with Your mercy and the joy of Your kingdom. Help me to see my spiritual poverty not as a deficiency, but as an opportunity to receive Your grace and experience the fullness of Your kingdom.
Thank You, Father, that the kingdom of heaven belongs to the poor in spirit. I receive this blessing with gratitude, seeking to live each day surrendered to Your will.

Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
