Does being near a tree hit by lightening cook you? That's what I don't understand
if you're out in the open and there is no shelter near you, how does being under the one tree that is significantly taller than you make you a likely recipient of a lightening strike
if there's one tree that's much taller than you, and you, and nothing else around for 2 miles, there's no difference between sitting under the tree vs standing outside of it?
