Its Warframe, but with less movement options and a grappling hook but the same overpowered movesets, the same grinding of weapons and unlocking Frames/Descendants.

People keep talking about the shop but there's nothing really needed to buy unless you want more booba or don't want to put in the time to grind (Missions if done with the top like 10 Descendants can be done quickly)

People ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the balance because there's a Descendant who's SS tier don't cover that you can do all content just a little slower with the worst Descendant and even then its hardly noticeable until late game. I'm clearing all content with zero money paid on a B tier just fine because I enjoy how the power works.

You either build gun or special abilities - you build either bosses or mobbing- and you grind and watch number go up while you level mods, make those mods have lower slot cost,
The missions in the beginning much like running planets in warframe are a little boring, but you get breaks for the giant bosses, spectacle fights, and new content. The story is nothing great, but unlike a lot of looter shooters its at least interesting enough that if you want to get involved you can.

Overall, 7/10, its fun enough to put time into, can be done 99% alone, and you can watch 50 things blow up at the same time for the low low cost of your time and zero dollars.

The game allows for some cool builds, progression, and some neat ideas. The wall hits you like a truck when it comes - I'm curious to see spells fleshed out a little more but I only did something like 12 runs in all, losing the last 6 to the 3rd area that seems REALLY hard to get past without progressing deep into Phys Resistance in the post game progression tree.

Overall, its a demo, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Looking forward to playing it on release.

The devs are fantastic and listen, the game play is fun. If you're looking for long term progression it is coming in waves, but the core game itself is just a lot of fun even after you beat the game. Trying new builds, every few weeks some major patch comes out which changes a lot up.
I'm so happy I bought this game.

Update - this team keeps updating. Keeps trying new things and revamping. I wish all devs were like this with their games. Not to big to understand that something didnt work.

Cowboy Blanks YT review is what got me to buy this game, and it's fantastic.

Its a neat tower defense - each tower has a few different upgrades, then 3 different paths to pick from - every few waves you get a "boss" or hellrift wave that increases the mobs defenses based on random things.
The game is a bit rough around the edges, but clearly the person making it really cares about it and its worth the price of entry as I'm sure it will be updated as a passion project.

A lot of people don't know what they're getting into when they buy this game.
This is just a heads-up for all of you thinking about buying it.

This game requires you to go through the LENGTHY story-setup to get really invested in what's going on. Its almost like an anime but with gameplay.
It teases you and slowly teaches you each one of its NEW FEATURES. (Duels, team mate stuff, cooking, whatever)
Its a LONG story. (20 to 30 hours before you even unlock the real story)

The whole startup story finishes before you even start the REAL game, which requires a LOT of grinding, a LOT of min-maxing, and a LOT of crafting / setting up links. You have so many choices on how to build your party, builds you can try on yourself, and some actual fun dungeons and end-game content.

This game is a lot, with really odd systems that will seem like they're not required but end up being very required in the end game...

(I have both PS4 and PC copies, because the PC release had a lot of game breaking bugs, but am now going through it again, bugs seem to be fixed. I'd highly suggest the keyboard setup, controller is a little awkward, but less awkward than Hollow)

I'd highly suggest it if you want to play an MMO with nobody else - or if you loved the series and just wanted to see the same friends (All of the cast from Hollow Realization, season 1, and whatever spinoffs) come back and do stuff.

The story actually gets... okay? If you liked the show, you'll like this well enough.

So, I'll play pretty much any ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and laugh at it.
I'll also play any ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story if the gameplay is good.

This is very much not a bad game with good gameplay, but just a bad game with bad game play.
Its very poorly translated - you're going to get a LOT of really strange lines like "I am a tomb in the desert, awaiting to be buried"
A lot of pronouns being mixed up between the male protag and females which makes some sentences just random.

A lot of VERY hyper girls, who constantly bounce up and down for zero reasons?
And the last "Boss" just randomly has two voicelines even when the music / SFX are completely off.


You play "tetris" which is just Dr.Mario rules (Clear the grey blocks before the time is over) - I beat it in about 90 mins, and the game drops the whole story at the end (Your friend wants you to join competitive "Tetris" league vs other girls, you just bang all of them negging them, helping them get over an ex, or one girl you sorta rape?)
I don't know dude, its a weird poorly translated game, and but for the price, I'd suggest it if you want to waste time?

I didnt nut, but I'm going think back at this and laugh.

Stop reading this review, and play the game.
Reviews will ruin this game, go into it with no idea what the ♥♥♥♥ is happening and just play - you'll have a much better time that way.

Frog Fractions is a game about a frog who loves fractions.

Crashed into a giant that killed my whole party in the first 5 mins of playing the game, and we all looked like 3 dudes chilling with underwater sunglasses on
5/5 would die again.

This game is dope.
One of the only games I've reviewed on steam, so listen up nerds.

First. Risk of Rain OG was a dope game, with a lot of different ways to play.
Wanna play with some random friends who arent good at video games? Turn that ♥♥♥♥ to baby mode and random ass items just drop

Wanna play with some weird people you met online and someone hosted a random sever on some internet image board? Lets do it boys, get ready to die a lot a lose a host quickly because they died because DEATH BALLS.


Now, Risk of Rain 2 is exactly risk of rain but 3D and early access. Yes, those words are scary AF, but this is a group of people who care about their community. Port forwarding? GONE. Join online nerds with easy. New monster? WE GOT EM. They'll be adding more as it goes. DEATH BALLS? Not yet. That will get added later on.

Look, I like video games. I'll be playing this one a lot by myself (Eat poop PC gamer) and with friends. And its going to be a blast.
