I had to be bullied into playing this franchise. I'm in love with everything about this, though the only thing I can say is that there are a few things in UVHM that seem very out of balance for what the rest of the game has to offer. Hyperius The Invincible being able to two shot from anywhere in the stadium and the shockwaves going even beyond and into the room where p3rv3 is, is rediculous. That and the physx causing a memory leak this far into the games lifespan is kinda sad. Outside of that, game is brilliant and can't wait to play Pre-Sequel.

Its a cute romp, but it definitely feels flat (no pun intended). The characters all seem pretty one note, and the one note isn't very good for most of them. I'd love to see this fleshed out more, maybe add more to do and more movement tools.
Otherwise, it's cute and I love the design of the game itself.

For now, don't pay full price for a 45 minute long game. Looking forward to what the dev has planned for the future.

They've known about an issue with signing up for an account for 3 years as of the time of writing. Verification email says it takes 1-5 minutes, and its been roughly an hour. Terrible first impression and will not be using it.

The best part about this game is the reboot to the Yu-gi-oh! base game in the form of Rush Duels. Removing all of the extra fluff from the game and fixing some of the pain points really just lets the game have a solid and fast back and forth that you just don't get in the normal game, or even in Speed Duels. I'd love to see this new game format expanded on and perhaps even released in paper form some day.
My only complaint is that there's no way to play Rush Duels without skills, which I feel is holding it back a bit.

Waited to get the game on sale because I couldn't justify spending 70 usd on something I didn't believe at the time was worth the full price tag.
After playing through a considerable amount of the game, I can safely say that this is the stingiest persona game I've ever played. Where other games in the franchise had alternate costumes, music, and story as part of the packaged deal, this strips away everything.
Persona 3 Portable is a more complete product, and I'd rather play through another run of the demake, than this "definitive edition". Doesn't help that the game doesn't offer a way for fans of the original ost who may not enjoy the new renditions, or even full replacements of songs.
If I could refund at this point, I would.

Probably the best souls-like of 2022. Overlooked by many due to Elden Ring, and its trailer honestly not doing it any favors.
The combat is tight, the OST is a loveletter to every game in the franchise, and the characters are exactly what you think they are.
Jed can die in a hole though. As soon as I had the opportunity to remove him from the party, I did. I detested him as soon as the words "Come on out, we have plunder!" escaped his digital pot hole.
I hope that there is a patch that removes him from the game so that I can give this game higher than a 9/10. Until he is removed I cannot recommend this game to people.

Jed aside, good game, good graphics, good ost, kill chaos, limp bizkit.

Easily one of the best sonic games in the franchise, and a great way to celebrate Sonic's 20th anniversary.

Pro's:

The best utilization of the boost formula first seen in Sonic Unleashed.

Tight controls and great level design.

Two ways to play, Modern Boost Formula Sonic, and Classic style 2-D Sonic. Each focusing on the strengths of each style.

Each stage and boss (outside of the final boss) is a remake of a stage or boss from a previous stage in the series, perfectly capturing what made each stage great while giving a reimagining of each for both Classic and Modern Sonic.

You can play as Modern Super Sonic and Classic Super Sonic after you beat the game.

Cons:

The game only has 12 levels.

Every stage is a remake of a stage from a previous sonic game in the franchise.

The final boss has different controls than the rest of the game and it's difficult to move around with nothing telling you what to do.

Classic Sonic doesn't control exactly as he does in the classic games. You have to wrestle with his controls as when you're trying to hold down to go into a ball as you're going down hill, he constantly wants to get back to running normally. His spin dash also acts more like a boost for his style of game play. This doesn't mean that it isn't fun, just don't be expecting to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles in 3-D.

Super Sonic cannot be used in Boss Fights without mods.
