I can't say anything about this game's story, beyond the fact that it actually made me tear up. It's... don't let the game's assurance that you only have One Shot dissuade you from playing this. Trust me, it's worth every minute you spend. The characters are just... gah, I just love this game so much.

Short review for now: Do you like Shovel Knight? Do you like Megaman? If yes, then play this game. This is most definitely worth the grand price of free. Defeating bosses for new powerups, and each stage having a unique theme and brand of enemies, and all the bosses having a personality that's distinct enough to remember is more than you'd normally expect from something priced free. Give it a download, it's really small.
