It was a good game that brought yu-gi-oh back to it's simpler roots. It represented the golden age of yu-gi-oh where your decks were your own and you could actually play the game without cards that negate everything. But, as with everything Konami owns, it was quickly ruined. With the blatant lowering free currency income, putting cards behind paywalls and introduction of modern overpowered archetypes there is little reason to play this game for a new player. The future of this game looks very bleak.

This game's main selling point is that it is the most up-to-date game before links ruined yugioh.

It is a major improvement on the last installment in that the cards you get aren't random. In the last game there was a 3 in 5000 chance of getting a card you want after a duel, in this game there's a 3 in 260 chance per pack.

The DLC is also more reasonable in that it doesn't, for the most part, contain any generic good cards. In the last game you would have to buy DLC solely because that DLC had a certain card, like upstart goblin and such.

If you haven't played yugioh for a long time, this is a great game to get caught up with.

The only game I've played that has actually had me laughing out loud.

If you thought Telltale learned anything from Season 2, think again. This is just a rehashed S2 with new unlikable characters.
Clementine's story advances about 5%, the rest is about the new characters no one cares about. The only thing you're missing by not getting this game is Clementine's disasterous haircut at the end. Speaking of the end, the ending is no where near S1 or S2. The closest thing to emotion you will feel is confusion after saying "That's it?".

If you like card games you will like this game.

-Good voice acting
-Good artwork
-Great music



Cons:
-Long, drawn out cutscenes
-English can be bad at times(However this is for minor things like card bios and in the tutorials.)
-If you don't have a gamepad you will have to figure out some of the controls yourself
-Limited 3D models

This isn't Dota 2 anymore.
