I definitely think Destiny 2 is worth getting when it's heavily discounted. I got all the current DLC (minus extra dungeons) for like $26 AUD, and I've already played like 70 hours.

1. Incredible value for money.
2. Fantastic co-op experience with friends; not terrible with randoms.
3. Gunplay is fantastic - it feels weighted, punchy and rewarding.
4. Decently high skill ceiling.

People complaining about the kernel-based anticheat tend to parrot the (mostly baseless) crap they've read online, without really knowing what they're talking about.

The game's been out just over a day now, so I think people need to chill on the server issues. Yeah, it sucks, but unfortunately it comes with the territory. This is an online, multiplayer game, and servers can only handle so much traffic.

I've also seen complaints on the battlepass/progression system, which is absolutely absurd. This is by far the most fair "battlepass" we've seen in years. You can literally earn enough credits in the free pass to purchase the premium one. You can even find the premium currency in-game! I'm not here to suck Sony's ♥♥♥♥ or anything, but that's better than we've been getting from any other game lately.

Anyway, I really recommend this game, especially if you can get a two or three friends together.

It's pretty tight

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this game. It controls like ♥♥♥♥, the graphics are terrible and the voice chat is ONLY push to talk and barely works.

Good spooks though 10/10

Buggy as all hell, but that's to be expected of a game so detailed and involved. The moment-to-moment gameplay is consistently fun once you get in to the swing of how everything works, combat is challenging but so very rewarding and the world feels lived in despite all the characters being rather copy-paste-like.

I recommend NOT using the "save any time" mod. It's really not that difficult to make or buy your own saviour schnapps or to find a bed to sleep and save in. I've literally never been without.
