Although I enjoyed this game in Early Access because of it's fun mechanics, it is so much better now that it has been fully released. I see myself playing a lot more of this in the future. You can probably get a decent amount of hours on it, so I think it's worth it at full price, but I would try to get it on sale.

EDIT: Since the time of the original review, the servers have gotten significantly better. They still aren't great but they are good enough to the point this game is worth it now.

ORIGINAL: This is such a good game but it's literally unplayable in its current state (not an exaggeration). The servers are so bad that you will spend more time trying to get into a game than actually playing. As fun as Among Us is, it's not worth the frustration trying to get in a lobby with your friends. Might as well get the free mobile version, because this game isn't worth any money right now.

The core mechanics of this game are so simple, yet it takes a long time to master it. The biggest flaw Mindnight has is the learning curve. As a new player you just have to get through a few games and pay attention to how people play, learn the slang, and learn the general do's and don'ts.

Once you have played this game for a while it is extremely fun to play with other experienced players. It's really an amazing clash of strategy, deception, and deduction. Unfortunately the community is small, and a lot of new players quit because of the learning curve. Most of the matches are a mix of complete noobs and experienced players, with almost no in between.

I highly recommend this game but just go into it with an open mind on what the best strategies are. There are some good guides in the community hub for beginners as well.
