Comments are disabled on your review, but if crashes are increasing in frequency as you get further into New Vegas, I'd recommend entering the PCB command in the console, i.e. open the console with ` on your keyboard, type PCB, and press enter. This should offload any excess data being stored, like interior spaces and such, freeing up memory and potentially decreasing the probability of a crash. It's best to do this while you're in an interior. Sorry to put all this on your profile, feel free to delete it when you've read this and given it a try.
