The Kenshi Collection, now on crisp digital CD, is the perfect gift for the music lover in your life.
It's jammed full of all your favourite artists:

Been playing MWO for the last 3 years. To be honest it's been a pretty rough ride but now all you steam people are getting the benefit of that time. The gameplay is fun, and there's no repair costs to force you into premium time like in WoT. High level play is limited largely to player organized events. If you like mechs, they push out mechs as fast as you can buy them, but when it comes to balance changes they'll leave something broken for months, years even.

I do not recommend anyone buy the steam packs, they are VERY poor value for a new player.

Overall I do recommend the game, it's in a good place now and looks to keep on getting better.

"1 step forwards 2 steps back" is the theme in this game. The orbital units and affinity add some additional choice and depth but then the lack of a religion/culture spread system takes that away. Without religion and culture pressing at your borders, you can just coast on through to victory so long as you stay friendly with your neighbours. Diplomacy is very basic, there are no research or production agreements. There are no great people or golden ages, each turn is a lot like the last. This game is crying out for some expansions so until then, I can't fully recommend it.

My two biggest dissapointments are:

#1 The lack of artwork for wonders. All you get is the usual quote and a basic blueprint style view of the wonder. The artwork in civ5 gave a lot of context to the wonder built and made it seem like a real achievement. There's some great artwork at the begining of the game, I was hoping for even more. Some cool sci-fi artwork would bring the player closer to the world that firaxis has created.

#2 Lack of a cinematic or even unique artwork for victories. When you win the game you get a larger view of the artwork used in the victories list. I was really hoping for something new as a reward for winning the game. A full cinematic is not even required, I would be happy with a few cool images with a bit of narration over them.

CONCLUSION: No for now, wait until they release an expansion and bundle it with the base game.
