Stay safe out there, every account matters, it's yours not theirs.
Again, as a repeat of my last comment, please beware of phishing accounts adding you, and do not add anyone who claims they "cannot add you", they can add you themselves. It's all a phishing scam. The only people who will sincerely add you will be people you already know who will tell you if they're adding you by something such as email/username. Or people you've recently played a game with. Don't link any non-official steam links they provide, no matter how appealing it may seem. Google sites they offer to send you to. If you can't find any information on the site, it's probably a scam site. Any site with an ounce of reputation behind it ends up on google, scam sites don't end up on google without people posting about it being a scam site too.
Stay safe and happy trading out there!
So your best bet for now is to message or add Mookie to discuss that. I'm not familiar with why the "spam bot service" was given as a reason though. If Mookie doesn't get back to you within a few days and you wish to be unbanned, message me again on my comments.
Thank you for your assistence.
I believe I have the same problem as the previous user in this comment section. I get a "no forum available message", so I'm trying an alternative way to contact an administrator for help.
During this month, I've been receiveing messages in my mailbox from people who posted links to external websites. I thought it could be of help if I flagged them as spam.
Yesterday, I was banned by a moderator. I don't know who it was, specifically. The message says "Reason: scam". With no more details.
Needless to say, I never scammed anybody.
In fact, last time I posted anything in Traders Guild's forums it was a trade offer for winter sale cards, back in 2015. Or maybe even 2014. I can't remember anymore. I only use the group for trade offers posted by others, these days.
I believe there's a misunderstanding.
Could you please help?
Thank you in advance.
I asked one of my friends who is in Trader's Guild to send me an invite to the group since I was still kicked, and it worked.
I went to report this referral spam post http://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/groups/TradersGuild/discussions/0/1488861734100912983/ like several I have reported in Traders Guild and other groups, and saw a notice that I was banned. I think maybe a moderator accidentally banned me instead of the account that posted an earlier referral spam that I reported.
Will you please look into this for me?
You have been permanently banned from all Traders Guild discussions.
You have been banned by a forum moderator.
Reason: "buying games from unauthorized resellers to resell to members"
Failure to comply with the rules will result in a kick. Repeated or serious offenses will result in a ban. i was not warned. just banned for nothing. can you get this fixed for me? i am guessing this is a complete mistake.
As for the ban, I did not request to lift the ban whatsoever.
It is my fault for not reading the forum rules and I am fully sorry about it.
I just wanted to ask about the detail because on the ban reason it's only written as: Giveaway.
Again, thank you for your explanation.
Have a good day.
The following rule in our group forum rules is included below.
Do not advertise or self advertise sites or links (directly or indirectly) without permission from the group officers.
I cannot change the condition of your ban, the ban has been issued by the owner of the group.
