This is how early access games are supposed to be, not just as a proof of concept, but as a proof of competence as well. It's good looking, juicy, and more diverse than I expected it to be at this stage.

Don't feel like you need to play the first ROR before playing this one; there's no need unless you'd just like to play the 2D game. With that said, I'm a little worried that it will be too much just like a 3d Risk of Rain, but with the minimal amount of playtime I've put down, I've discovered quite a few new things, especially the enemies.

My one gripe with the game at the moment is the teleporter placememnt. It seems to work essentially the same way as in the first game but with the added dimension, I find the teleporters much more difficult to find, leading me to walk around the map in circles, becoming tedious quickly. They'll sometimes be found in dark places, slightly clipping in to terrain objects. They're a dark, matte color, and there's nothing that assists you in finding them.

All in all, I definitely recommend this game, and probably will recommend it more once it comes out fully. I've been following the devlog for a while. I might be a little biased because the first game completely introduced me to the genre of roguelikes and roguelites, but I have high expectations anyways. Hopoo hasn't let me down yet.

P.S. You don't suffer the torture of configuring Hamachi or port-forwarding for mutiplayer.

This game was fun and fair. But then the green nation attacked.

Found one server with out of all 8 with people on it. There were only 4 people on it.

To be honest, I dont even know if the game is good or not. I opened the game and tried to make an account ingame. I clicked the register button and nothing happened. So I said, "I should try restarting the game.". I did, and the same thing happened. So I tried registering on their website, restarting the game again and tried logging in. No luck. Couldn't even play the game. What a shame.

THIS GAME IS SO FUN
