Sad I didn't come across this one sooner, if you like political sims then you really should try Suzerain. Gameplay wise its basically a visual novel with a lovely ui and map. While story wise its incredibly well written and you will quickly realise all your choices as President Anton Rayne will affect his country, friends and family.

Plus if your a history nerd you will get a extra kick out of it. While the world itself is fictional, its all seems to be inspired on real world events and nations. Your nation of Sordland being heavily inspired by 20th century Turkish history and you will find that pretty much every other nation around you has been inspired directly from a real world state or is a mix of serval put together along with their strengths, weakness and global affecting issues.

I ended up playing this game in two sittings over a weekend, I just wanted to find out what would happen next and to see if everything I was trying to do could actually pay off. Give it a try and good luck. Just try not to get assassinated or worse ^_^
