whatever this is, its not "Code Vein 2",
code vein is a vampiric stylized souls like, which ran well, has its own very unique systems, art style and gameplay mechanics and elements, almost all of those unique elements are gone, and replaced with carbon awful copies of what Elden Ring is.

quite literally none of the awesome writing and introduction are included in this game compared to its predecessor, and ALL i mean ALL of the lore is bastardised to tell a story that, makes no sense logically or magically in universe. the identity of what the revenants are, completely washed away.

if you never played the first game you might enjoy this one. if you hoped for a true sequel this aint it save your money.

also once again the powers of optimisation have eluded MODERN GAMING, it runs terribly.

once you complete the forced tutorial--- it forces you to do it again because reasons.

its exactly what it looks like, a DEI hire fantasy shooter which tries to blend valorant overwatch and apex legends into generic streamer slop.

cant recommend when, first 2 games i get a speed hacker and spin botter.
3rd game i kill a guy body disappears into the ether, completely gone, and then died to thin air at an extract??? no telling me what killed me from full health and shield mind you.

updating review to match current major issue with the game.

1 in 7 players are cheaters, running a script to reduce bullet bloom (dispersion) the dev team is far too occupied focusing on battle passes and skins than focusing on the major amount of cheaters and lack of maps. currently games unplayable

so far cant make a attractive female face, wide jawline, ass and tits flatter than Heathrow run way at 100%, will update as i go along

UPDATE 1 :
in short cos late and im tired got work.

mage combat feels good, switching between melee and ranged is fun.
skill trees somewhat interesting tbf some nice ideas, realistically you spam companion spells to sweep fights though.

dialogue is a mixed bag. some good LOTS of verbal ♥♥♥♥ spewing that is not needed tbf. too much whimsy and togetherness removes all stakes and tension.

solas and varic convos are actually good to be fair. gives good lore and provides some darkness and tension

I LEARNED that looking into a mirror and stating " i love myself" makes you trans. idk how but dragon age told me that.

UPDATE 2:

dialogue and the blandness boring caricature of the characters has drained me, the characters are so lifeless and devoid of any emotion, or any form of belief about the levity of the situations they find themselves in its borderline a joke, i didnt think writing could be this bad.

initially i thought the skilltrees were good, but i noticed something,
we have less abilities than we did in inquisition. again. the entire feel of the mage class and how expansive they felt is completely gone. its all a form of elemental damage now, what happened to all the others? sure we got a upgrade by switching weapons dodge rolls perfect parry on a mage. but we lost so so so much more.

some side quests are half decent, and you can tell there is at least 1 or 2 writers that actually give a ♥♥♥♥ about lore and worldbuilding and giving Dragon Age its dark fantasy back. but having 20% of a game be good and 80% complete and utter garbage, its not enough to hold my attention.

lastly but not least, the entire game leaves you in disbelief. the writers set up something to feel like "omg this is terrible and its so dark" only to have all the characters everywhere not give a flying ♥♥♥♥ and act like everything is so whimsical. its so immersion breaking that im truly annoyed i wasted my money on this dire thing.

side note:
ironically the writers accurately describes what they have done to this game its lore and art style when solas describes the villians

just met trash, the most unironically woke and accurately portrayed modern woke character in video game history "YOU DONT GET TO TELL ME WHO I AM"
she is a massive annoying child who hates everyone because pro nouns.. a terrible useless character that does no fit the universe and the lore ( qunari that breaths fire)

yes bioware and dragon age is dead, no this game is not canon, dragon age 4 hasnt released yet this game is a fan made project who mock the original artists pure work by destroying it.

GREAT GAME... unless you play online then the "usual suspects" iykyk are out in force with their cheat engines typical of that kind tbh but here we are

if you want online go ps5 or xbox, cant recommend online on pc too many stereotypes sadly

UPDATE: more cheaters than ever and input reading is still terrible, the tekken devs at this point are about as useful as joe biden reading from a script



congratulations you are going to be playing Tekken 8, a game which is plagued by a 75% cheater player base thanks to cheat engine, a dev team that cannot understand the fundamentals of hitboxes, and the worst community (yes worse than cod and LoL) that is so delusional about a game they spent 20 years playing, will refuse to see ♥♥♥♥ they like to eat :) enjoy your time here before realising there at at least 2 other fighting games far superior

cannot progress past bridge to the vault, aka game is not playable anymore do not waste your money on it
you only get Character customisation and the ability to walk for 30 seconds thats it thats the game

YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS DLC KEY TO PROGRESS THE MAIN STORY

i cannot fathom this at all, that brant gives you a quest to get into a gaol. apparently he gives you a key (he does not)
so YOU HAVE TO BUY A KEY FROM THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STORE to progress the main story :)
im 100% not wishing horrible unspeakable things to every staff member that works for capcom :)

started game, CaC is great, get into game spend a hour playing decide i dont like my character or pawn, go to start a new game AND I CANT DO THAT????? you literally cannot start a new playthrough... on a single player game... in 2024... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell this industry is ♥♥♥♥♥♥
