Ignore the critics on this one, of course the story is shallow but you shouldn't be coming to a mana game for the story. The fighting and class mechanics in this entry feel buttery smooth, and leave each battle feeling satisfying. I will say you should play on hard though as normal is far too easy. The game is structured like a classic, linear JRPG. The simplicity is honestly what gives it charm though, it is certainly a game you can just chill and play, but still be engaged in. The story does leave something to be desired, but is still better than half the stuff nintendo puts out tho so idk what the critics are whining about. Recommend to anyone who enjoys older party based rpg games.

amazing for a free game

Amazing co-op horror game with phenomenal physiological horror elements, for a live-service, early access game it is quite polished and promising. The story elements they included are amazing and engaging, just wish there was more. Only complaint is that the AI will consistently agro through walls, which ruins the immersion in a stealth game.

Fun, fresh survival coop game. Unique art style paired with modding support makes this my favorite multiplayer game this year. Only critique is that the game is only fun with friends.

One of the best games I have ever played. It unravels an immersive story that leaves you with more questions than answers, yet in the best way possible. There is not a single jump scare or chase scene, yet I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, scared for what comes next.
