Incredibly atmospheric horror game, looks great, sounds amazing and it feels absolutely brutal.
Nights in darkwood are some of the most tense moments you can experience in a game, if you like survival horror, buy it.

Amazing game and sequel, that even though it touches on some very dark subjects manages to be incredibly beautiful and even surprisingly hopeful at times.
The art, music and writing are all on point.

A great collection of the classic flash games with a higher resolution and upscaled textures, It's good to have a convenient way to play these games.

the only complaint I have is that I wish they had added dead zone and had addressed some of the bugs on the games, specially union city, as well as having a better integration of what used to be premium content.

With a good soundtrack, a very beautiful art design and an interesting world Death's Gambit is very appealing at first sight, but the game does have many problems:
It's pretty short with not very interesting combat for a souls-like, it lacks variety in it's arsenal with most classes having very few if not only one weapon to choose from, has poor character proggresion with a boring leveling system, the game can be very buggy at times and it's story lacks pacing.
Even after all that though the game is still quite enjoyable and I'd definitely recommend it if you find it on sale, specially if you enjoy 2D Souls-like games.
