An absolute favorite of mine!!

I first played this on Nintendo Switch. We almost bought a Nintendo Switch JUST to play this game.

Then, I bought this game on Steam. At first, it was difficult to play with multiple people. But, now that the game supports multiplayer (from different computers), I can't be happier.

This game is SO much fun with a lot of replay-ability. You probably won't play for more than an hour or two at a time due to the limited number of levels. But, the time you do have will be fun.

Players must figure out which of the characters belongs to them as all characters on the screen look identical. Once you figure out who you are, you need to figure out which are the other players, stealthily move toward them, and go in for the kill, without getting caught.

The graphics are easy to watch - the concept is simple - the game is complex.

I want every one of my friends to own this. Admittedly, it's much nicer when it's on sale. But, I think it's absolutely worth the full price.

10/10 Recommend.

I really Really enjoyed this game. It was beyond simple to learn how to play and there is enough to do that keeps the game interesting. The solutions were generally pretty straightforward/simple - but still took a bit of thinking here and there. And, to make the game even more playable, there are multiple solutions to most of the problems. This made me go back after beating it to replay it a few more times in order to finish all of the achievements.

When I was finished, sadness set in as I realized the game was over. I wish there was more.

In about an hour you can complete the entire game + all achievements. But, well worth the buy.

8/10 Recommend!

This game is a must - just like Kindergarten (The Original).

After playing the first game, I couldn't wait for the sequel and I bought it as soon as I saw it.

The sequel is fantastic and well-thought out. If you liked #1, don't hesitate to get #2. This isn't drastically different from the first (thank you!) - it's more of the same. For me, that's exactly what I wanted.

Play as a kindergartener and talk to various people at school. As you talk and interact with items, you will start to learn the order in which you need to do these things to trigger events and new items.

It's easy without being too easy. It's difficult without being too difficult. It's exactly right.

I've told so many people about the Kindergarten series and pushed this game on them till they bought it :)

Connor, if you're looking for a Beta-Tester or an earlier Reviewer for your next game, please let me know! I'll be happy to write an in-depth review or help test. I think you're brilliant and this series has been an absolute favorite of mine. Thanks!

  • Easy to pick up and learn
  • Simple easy to see graphics
  • Yet, elements of strategy in picking the best monsters for the battle and choosing which to level up

53.5 hrs last two weeks / 1,342.4 hrs on record

I think the above speaks for itself.

4/5 - Definitely Recommend if you like easy going, upgrade your guy/stuff, TD/kill the baddies type

The game isn't perfect - You wish for varying bad guys, different weapons (I found myself exclusively using one of the magic attacks the entire game), and a better End-Game screen.

But, what you get is so much. The mechanics are simple. There are differing upgrade options. The graphics are clean and the learning curve is low.

For a free game, I can't ask for more.

I hope to see a 2nd version or others just like this in the near future!

... Look through the pictures/video preview for this game.

... This game is 1 GB.

... How is that even possible.. ?

--

The game itself is fine. I don't love the shaky graphics (even turning it off, leaves much on). And, it seems like the story only goes one way regardless of what is chosen. I was hoping there may be different directions like a choose-your-own-adventure. But, this is simply a hand-drawn story you follow by clicking anything.

I can accept the graphics. I wish the story was more in depth. I wish choices ultimately mattered.

..Why is this game 1 GB? What went wrong in development???

Playing this game helped me decide not to buy Emily is Away Too.

First, going into full-screen mode screws up the clickable buttons. I couldn't figure it out at first. Nothing clicked. Then, I realized I had to click inches away from the buttons. I finally figured out, I can't play in full-screen mode.

This game has no purpose. I went in excited to relive old memories and, as a big fan of "choose-your-own adventures" I was ready to make some daring choices.

But, no matter what choices I make, the ending is ALWAYS the same (not counting the "Emily refuses to talk to me anymore" scenario).

When you make an important choice in the game, the game responds with "Emily will remember that". Why? Not one single thing I did that Emily "remembered" had any bearing on the outcome, in any way, what-so-ever.

I eventually googled walk-throughs. I'm not just terrible at this game. There is no other ending. So, every decision, no matter what, brings you to the same chat and the same ending.

Purposeless and disappointing.

Great, great idea. Poor execution. Now, I'm "too" afraid to buy Emily too.

This game is beautiful. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I took a risk. I can't speak well enough about this game.

The game mechanics are smooth - graphics hold up and game items are easy to see
The characters are fun with unique dialogs and motivations.
A sense of accomplishment after finally getting all the in-game achievements
Difficulty is solid. It's not too easy. But it definitely isn't too difficult to beat. It's perfect.

Game Play: You are a kindergartner. You have varying quests and need to interact with different characters at different times to accomplish your missions. Not only do you have multiple endings to your "day at school" but there is an in-game mini-game to find all the hidden "cards" around the game world.

I admit there was a period where I was frustrated and the game became repetitive. But, once I got past it, everything became golden again.

If you have a good sense of humor, enjoy easy-going yet challenging puzzles, mixed with the love for "choose-your-own adventure" type games, this is an easy decision. Grab this game!

I wish there were more games like this.

* I don't know how to receive a free edition of #2 to help test it out but, if it's possible, I'd love to be in on that! Major props to Con Man Games and SmashGames on this game!

The Game:

You have a food truck with a few food items. You task is to adjust the selling prices, move your truck to various locations, and sell to customers. The game is definitely a casual point and click which makes for an easy-going, relaxing time.

The Good:

  • You can eventually purchase advertising, new trucks, and will discover new items to sell as you level up
  • Simple - very small learning curve
  • The game play is very casual
  • The Price is VERY affordable
  • There are challenges and events in the game
  • You can potentially play for hours, days, weeks

The Not So Good:

  • VERY easy to accidentally click the wrong thing and there is no undo button
  • Upgrades are so expensive it will take a VERY long time to get them
  • The challenges/events give you $1,000-2,000. By level 38 and many hours of game play, I still make about $40 profit each day. This means my daily profit is so so inconsequential to my money gained. It almost makes me feel like I shouldn't even bother to sell anything on a daily basis.
  • No Information, graphs, details about purchases, history, or how things are going with my business. Even lemonade tycoon provided these things.
  • Events have you formulate a recipe for an item (say coffee). By the end of the event, I think I've learned how to make it right, or at least close. But the events never recycle so I'll never be able to apply what I've learned. So, learning anything is pretty useless.
  • Game options, variety, potential is very limited

Recommendation: Yes

For the price, this game is an easy decision if you are looking for a no-pressure, relaxing game with a little bit of strategy. There are a number of flaws/issues in the game but if you don't let them bother you, you'll get hours of entertainment. I'm surprised this wasn't a free app on the phone. But, for the 99 cents, I'm still glad I got it.

-- I'm just left wondering, how/why does this game take 1GB of memory?
