+very deep melee system
+seemless multiplayer (friends or online)
+endgame loop (PvP / procedual dungeons)
+character customization (in terms of stats and appearance)
+individual playstyle (basically allows you to develop your own fighting style)
+very steep learning curve (feels like noone really mastered the game three years after release)
+not a lot of actual ingame progression in terms of stats (can easily beat max lvl with a lvl 1 character)

-no more updates
-very little playerbase (~60 active players at any given time, makes it almost impossible to do 3v3 PvP)
