Absolute banger game!

Before i dive into the good bits, I must say that this game crashed A LOT on me, to points where my entire pc crashed aswell. (only this game, no other games, and yes I looked for solutions everywhere).

The Good:

The game has endless exploration options, even when you think you've found everything there is to find, u did not. Hidden chests, area's u name it.
The combat feels good and there are many routes to take, Archer, Mage, Worrier, Rogue, etc.
Building options o-plenty (appart from decorations i.m.o.) and so many regions to build in and now with the latest region: Veil water, such cool water mechanics!

I definitely recommand this game if you love survival crafting games!!

Also if you ran into crashes during you're playthough and fixed it somehow, please let me and others know!

Played a couple of game and here is my feedback.

The bad:
- The AI needs to be scaled back a little, normal feels like hard difficulty, there is almost no winning. (can't imagine the other difficulties then).
- Controls in some mini games are clunky, some work really well, others are just a mess.
- There is no way to speedup the AI's turn, nor is there a way to speed up dialog. a bit annoying.
- The dice system is.. something else.. make it go faster or give us the option to hold "A" to make it move faster.
- Game sometimes felt slow, having to wait on certain dialog or unnecessary animations.
- Character customization could use some more work, there are a lot of outfits and pieces to combine, but you are almost always stuck with the colors that they have and you can't always change those (more so not).

The Good:
The maps look fun, the ones I played were good, and I like that you can build certain parts of the map, making for a refreshing play every so often.
Tutorials and gui are easy to follow and easy to understand.
I love the fresh take on the (mario) part games.

For now I can't recommend the game however, the bad weight to much against the good.
I will however keep an eye out for updates and adjust my review accordingly.

First off I like to say that this game has real good potential.

The visuals are great and the story line is good, however..
the game has a few bugs which really broke the immersion for me.

1st. There is a bug sometimes when you walk all of a sudden u feel like you're walking head first into a storm and move very slowly and sometimes even stops you from going that way. I have read multiple forums on how to "fix" this, nothing worked I had to save, and reboot the game EVERYTIME! (this bug seems to have been there for a very ling time).

2nd. As someone that likes to complete games, it's really annoying that half of the achievements just don't pop. Someone even wrote a guide on how to make 1 pop by deleting files and reinstalling them, like Devs? C'mon...

Like I said the visuals are great and the story was good, it has a bitter taste to it and I would've loved to have been more immerest in it, if I didn't have to restart the game as much as I had to.

Therefor I can't simple recommend the game right now, hopefully the dev's will take action on the bugs, but I don't have high hopes.

As someone that was never a really big fan of these "2D story tell" games I have one thing to say in short: I really really! love this game!


The rich story dives deep into human psyche, with loads of funny but also grim aspects.
Character design being phenomenal and audio use to bump up the grasp this game had on me.
It is save to say this game is a masterpiece, and this is coming from someone that used to hate these type of games. Thanks to the coffin of Andy and Leyley it has really grown on me.


I had this game in my wishlist for a while (a little after chapter 2 came out I think),
and was really contemplating on buying the games or not. I even removed the game from my wishlist a few times, but as the game grew larger and the internet lost it's mind over it more and more I became curious enough to get it for myself.

I also have to admit being able to play this game on a handhold console (Steamdeck)
really set the mood right for me. Every night before going to bed I was playing this game for about an hour, wondering what was going to happen tomorrow. My first play through took me about 5 hours in total, and I quickly went through it again and again to see all the endings.


For the like minded people of not being into these "2D story tell games:
To you I recommend it the most! Give it a try, see for yourself and enjoy!
For those who are into these type of games:
Add this one to your collection, you will not regret it one bit!

I can't wait for the story to continue and support the game and it's creator more!
I might even try other games the creator has put out in the past.

After having seen a lot of youtube videos, I wanted to hop in with some friends aswell.
And let me tell you it didn't dissapoint. As a person who needs good visuals for games this game didn't bother me one bit, it has it charm. Gameplay is relatively easy yet scary. Altho some mechanics might need a change, I can't stay away from this game. I can't want for more updates to come and I can definitely recommend this game if you want to play some goofy yet terrifying game with your friends!

Game keeps pulling me back in. Stopped playing for awhile but came back when the Gloomrot DLC was announced. I love this game so much because there is so much to do and stuff that keeps you busy. The mechanics of the game are really fun to play around with and there is definitely something for everybody. Base building is also so a lot of fun, the endless possibilities are insane. The different bosses are also really well made and look awesome!! Definitely recommend this game for both solo players and a group of 4!

-Edit: After the 1.0 release of the game, it looks even more stunning! More bosses and even a "Brutal" difficulty setting where bosses get more abilities and patterns, is just what i needed after having finished the game on normal. I still highly recommend this game!!!

Pretty (and) great game, played a few hours with some friend and we always have a blast! Just wish some of the mechanics from the AI would be changed: for instance, Bigfoot comes for you every night after the first night, I would've liked to see him skip a night and maybe heal up? so it's more random when he comes for you. But all in all a great game!!

Fun game! WIll ruin friendships tho.
