mid, but prolly GOTY

So I only played Battlefield 4, and I hated it, I actually am not a big fan of Battlefield games in general, but it felt good to jump into such a large war zone and just be left free to do whatever. The game has some issues, and is lacking in some content, but I've seen people pay more for less and am laughing my ass off watching people compare this game to a Halo game. (People will suck off the developers no matter what so long as the game is free.)

The Bloom is tolerable, just aim better lol? Honestly, I thought it was a joke at first, but it seems once again fans overdramatize everything, the bloom is next to nothing and tap firing is fine. For reference, I used the default SMG and LMG, which I now have Mastery 1 on both and have NO complaints about neither the recoil nor bloom.

As for the amount of content in the game, 22 guns is a little... Lacking... Yes.. However, I'm looking forward to mastering a few of them and picking a personal favorite, there's still plenty of content to have fun with and as of right now the matchmaking lobbies are dominated by 1-2 guns yet, which I'm happy about.

The biggest and probably only negative thing I have about the game is that vehicles absolutely dominate infantry, if you're one of those guys that prefers to stay away from vehicles and just enjoy running around shooting other people you'll notice pretty fast that the run-and-gun strategy does NOT work on some of these maps.

As for the operators, cope? Who cares? If you're mad about the skins, then don't buy them? The coolest ones can be unlocked by playing the game anyway, and there's no incentive to spend any money on the game other than just purchasing the game itself.

Portal is really fun, I love playing in older combat and the Thompson is always fun to use in any shooting game. I'm glad I came in skeptical because the gameplay so far is fantastic.

EDIT 11/28: Review stays the same, but I'd like to add that the current state of optimization regarding FPS is kinda bad. I have good hardware and find myself running, on ultra settings, 60-70 FPS. On High, it's actually not that different, only when I lower my settings to medium to I see a increase of frames. Hoping this next update fixes that, people saying it will but I'm not the type to get my hopes up, lol. Still a good game, cry more.
