I've played BF4 on console for years and finally picked it up on PC, if you love 64 player matches then you'll love this. In my opinion the best battlefield game in the franchise right up there with BF3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 if you like battlefield games. If you like semi-realistic slow to fast paced shooter then this is for you. The mechanics are different from call of duty but you can still get that rush on maps like Metro, Locker

Early Access Review
Zero Hour in a nutshell.

No weapon or attachment unlocks. Full weapon customization (Sights, Attachments)

No repetitive map experiences. With the ability to rappel up buildings and enter multiple entry points the possibilities are endless.

Planning matters. This game is all about which side is more tactical, not who has the better shooters. You could be killing multiple tangos on your way up the stairs to the level the VIP is on to find yourself dead after entering a booby trapped doorway. There is also a chance to see the building blueprints of the area you're attacking or defending before each match to give you an opportunity to make a sound plan.

Sound is important. When taking steps, cracking doors, rappelling up buildings or killing the power it all makes sounds that can be heard by everyone including the enemy who will not hesitate to shoot through the door you're trying to breach while they're on the other side of it.

This game definitely has potential as an early access game, as the mechanics are tweaked, bugs fixed and the systems optimized this game could become something very promising on release day that will attract a much larger fan base. If you love tactical shooters and want a break from the fast passed Call of Duty series or another type of FPS-game in the genre then this is something worth checking out especially for the price point.

I decided to post this review for people looking to buy Squad or want to know how it is for newer players. I've currently accumulated 7 hours in-game and that was all from my first time playing the game. The pre-deployment training they have in-game prepares you for a large majority of the game and it's mechanics but I found it helpful to watch youtube videos that also give you some insight onto some things you should know. The first server I joined the Squad I was in was pretty chill and they were all working together. I was still trying to figure out all the controls but there was no stress, I ended up doing supply runs in a truck before our rally point was overrun by enemy armor and I began to die. I continued to play for hours and hours and learning more and more, driving BMP's and LAV's for my squad commander gunners and firing rocket trucks onto points to commanding my own squad all in one day. I'm definitely not fit for squad leader just yet but I believe I'll be there eventually. Everyone in the servers are chill and there weren't any toxic people, communication in the game is beautiful and very effective as well as the map marking system.

I purchased Squad and ARMA 3 because both are game's I always wanted to play and between the two Squad feels more of my pace. In ARMA 3 first time playing servers, squad's seemed out of sync but the graphics were beautiful.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality milsim with unlimited potiential and creativity. The game was hard to get into PvP wise so if you're looking for something close to this but easier to get into, then Squad would be the better alternative.

Game is very tactical and you'll be forced to work together to accomplish the objective. If you like a simple tactical FPS that's not graphics heavy then you're in for a treat.

I originally first played this game when it was in beta and browser-based using Unity 3D web plugin for games which is no longer in usage.

This game is squad based and each squad has a leader which can call mortar strikes and other things like reconnaissance planes. There are different roles in the squads such as machine gunner, rifleman, sniper, etc and each play a part in helping your side win the battle. If you love squad based trench warfare then this is the game for you.

Graphics - 10/10
Sound - 8/10
Gameplay - 9/10

First off I'm going to be as thorough as possible. Graphics 10/10 | Audio 9.5/10 |
The graphics are really great, you don't need a high level gaming computer to have a great expirience. I have an laptop with an AMD Proccessor and an AMD Radeon R5 GPU (Very Low End - GPU) You can play this game on all low settings and still play fine. The Audio is spectacular, the soldiers have thier own voice logs when you click them and command them to do things. The vehicles, the gun fire and all audio in general is clean and high-quality. The game is progressive and really responsive. The editor is easy to use once you learn everything. The campaign solo-missions are fun and CHALLENGING. The game was worth the buy, you can get the free demo which is great by itself, but if you want the full expirience, you should buy the Full Game. Overall 10/10 Great RTS Game, basically a modern version of Men of War: Assault Squad 2

Edit | 6/12/2020

I'm dissapointed that after buying the full version, it does not include all the other factions in the game... and it appears the editor has been removed?
