Got to the second area, saw one of the new leviathans and promptly drove my tadpole into a wall out of panic.

We are so back

While the extraction shooter genre isn’t for everyone. For anyone wanting to dip there toes into it this is one of if not the best game to do it with.

Ignoring the great visuals, phenomenal audio and satisfying combat. There are so many QOL changes in this game that makes it one of the most accessible extraction shooters on the market. The endless free loadouts gives newer players as much time as they want to learn maps and mechanics, something that was becoming increasingly difficult in other titles.

For people who want to compare this to the finals, I implore you to watch some of the developer interviews. Arc Raiders is Embarks baby and has been for several years, with the next 2 months already packed to the brim with content, I cannot recommend this game enough.

The grind is real, and getting a decent ship can be an utter pain in the ass. But once you pass that barrier and can finally pursue exploration, bounty hunting, trading, piracy, etc. It becomes one of the best games you will ever play (in my eyes). The feeling of flying through space accompanied by an incredible music score is what sells this game to me. In conclusion, if you don't mind a grind which there definitely is then you will be doing yourself a favour by picking this up

I played this game ages ago when it was in the very early stages and it showed a lot of potential but had various flaws and problems that kept me from continuing. I can firmly say that it has "evolved" from then and has become quite an experience. Taming your first dinosaur is exciting and feels like such an achievement. Performance has drastically improved and can now finally manage 60fps on high - epic settings (running on a 1060 and i5 2500k) and the game looks impressive, it's a photographer's wet dream. Gameplay is enjoyable and has some fairly resposive combat mechanics. Early game is stressful as you desperately try and find the tools to survive and avoid being eaten by something that is 30 levels above you. Mid and late game feel satisfying as you look around at what you've made, whether it's beautiful or completely disgusting is left to the player. ARK is an enjoyable adventure alone but is one of the best experiences with a friend or friends. Getting past that initial struggle is a lot faster and allows the more creative and exciting content to come a lot faster as well. With all this comes one or two issues. 60 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars is ridiculous for this kind of game and is downright greedy. Add $15 - $20 DLC and it really leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If you are willing to pay that amount then you should know that this game is a grind, allbeit a rewarding and entertaining one it is still a grind. Numerous bugs and glitches dampen the fluidity of its gameplay and can sometimes turn it into a laggy mess that can cause some frustration.

ARK: Survival Evolved is a step above the others in the survival genre, it provides experiences that cannot be found in other games and is well worth my time.

This game has truly evolved from a game to a platform, the sheer diversity in each play session continues to amaze me. It has opened up numerous oppurtunities to enjoy strict, tactical military simulation or a chance to just ♥♥♥♥ around with friends. It's lasting support from the modding community has significantly increased its replay value. With that though comes some problems, joining a game can a colossal pain in the ass, the game has absolutely piss-poor performance and in 4 years nothing has been done about it. Arma 3 is pillar in the gaming community and is one of the games i could reccomend to anyone.

This game is easily one of the best F2P FPS games i have ever played. The heavy emphasis on teamwork has made me instantly hooked. This game can not be missed and is a great alternative to other F2P FPS games but i can happily say that it is better that some AAA shooters
