Combat mechanics and leveling system is on point, unfortunately the defeat/victory mechanic is horrifically cheeseable. "Oh no! The enemy team is making a powerful comeback by grinding their levels and taking advantage of our missteps! TIME TO SLAM MY FOREHEAD INTO THE ENEMY BASE UNTIL I GRAB THE DRAGON BALL LMAO!" Avoid this game until they tweek the balancing.

"Darkest Dungeon is about making the best out of bad situations". I hate to say this to many of the negative comments on here, but if you fail in Darkest Dungeon you quite literally have nobody to blame but yourself. "Defeat is not in being outmatched, but in failing to recognize it". The game gives you every opportunity to succeed. The problem is when people try to force a square block into a triangle hole; it simply doesn't work when you try to force the situation. "Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer". Going in to a dungeon and immediately expecting to succeed is the downfall of many players. You always come up with a backup plan, and anticipate the worst of circumstances rather than trying to smash your face in to a keyboard and hoping something goes right. I'll admit Darkest Dungeon is not for everyone, but just because it isn't for YOU doesn't mean it's the fault of the game

If you have a AMD R9 GPU avoid this game like the plague. Patch 1.3 made the game unplayable due to lackluster support for this card. And oh boy are they sure dragging their knuckles fixing it.
