5/10 game has a lot of potential

Currently I do not recommend it as it seems to be too much of a repetitive grind with no real reason for progression. But, should something like dungeons/random structures be implimented with strategic pve implimentations, I'd hop back in in a heart beat. The game is fun for an hour or two until you catch on to the pattern and stop being so impressed by the visuals. I've only played until I made it to a third planet hoping that gameplay would change. Sadly, it has not. Seeing the moon was an impressive change from being stuck on my home planet for an hour or two. It was also kind of fun suffocating to death trying to find more plasma to create a viable space suit. I would not buy this game at its current price of 20 dollar but I got it on sale for 8. I'll leave it to you to decide if it's worth that price or not.

Cons:
Not very much Mob Diversity - Mobs all have a basic shooting ability that you can sidestep and also a melee move that you can simply back up against
Weapons/Armor - Upgrading tiers of weapons doesn't give much more damage potential. The only real upgrade was from pistol to assault rifle because of the incessant clicking needed to kill things. Even with the best armor you get at the time, you still die in a few hits to mobs of the same level. Gear is not very game changing , level is what really matters.
Loading time takes forever even though I have decent computer specs, This makes me think twice about traveling between worlds.
Water is not fully implimented yet - You can't swim, it's simply treated as walking on land. You'll either be like jesus, walking on water, or you'll be stuck under the water walking on the land.
Resources - As you increase in level, you need to grind more and more for resources. Resource nodes ( e.g. trees/ore veins) do not gain more for higher level zones so you'll find yourself chopping down entire forests to make a single weapon/armor. The only thing that gets better is your mining gun thing that I forgot the name of.
Level system - Trying to fight an enemy even 5-7 levels above you will take entire clips of ammo. I've only played in solo player so far, but this seems like PvP would be dominated by the higher levels making this not very 'newbie' friendly as when you die, you lost majority of your resources that you've spent forever gathering.
World diversity - When I first started, I went far away from the caves running about randomly exploring. As I played more and returned to the start, I realised it's not very smart so stray from the caves on your home planet as that's where 99% of the resources are. After making it to the moon and another planet, I realised that there isn't much to see when exploring. Your time is better spent killing enemies slightly higher level than you.
Jetpack - Jetpacks seem pretty useless based on my current progress as every structure I've attempted to climb on is simply baren. The only use of it seems to be hovering above dangerous enemies but it's too much of a resource sink to be useful, burning 120 wood per minute.
Combat - There is no sweet-spot for hitboxes or anything of the sort. Things like aiming for the head or trying to shoot a turtle in between its shell will not add extra damage sadly.
Some random loot crates i've found seem to be unresponsive.
Everything is blueprint based and majority of the drop chances seem to correspond with level locking you into some linear gameplay.
There are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many WeiWeis. Initially I thought he was following me until I saw him and his identical cousin, WeiWei, at the same time.

Pros:
Visually stunning
Nice feel to the weapons
Awesome soundtracks
Massive worlds that I have yet to explore fully
Mysterious ruins that I no idea how to use yet
Game has a fair amount of randomness if you're into that sort of thing.
Resources nodes have a random chance of giving bonus items. A visual cue will usually show which ones are which giving you a reason to explore and keep your eyes peeled on the way.
Monsters have different looks based on what type they are. Some have a wealthy mod that'll give you a hefty amount of crafting items/resources whilst other will be harder to kill and more likely to drop blueprints or even give double experience. Majority of them, however, will be fire or ice type. Not entirely sure if those two things do anything in particular.
Buildings are pretty simple to get used to making
Vendor bots will sell you things for a hefty profit if you haven't been lucky enough to find the blueprint you need.
Monsters will attack other monsters rather than everything simply trying to kill you
Built in voice chat (allthough I've never used it yet)
Skill/job system that I haven't gotten around to using yet but from other reviews, does not sound too game changing.

11/10 as a goat herder, I can honestly say that this game is the most realistic simulation of goats to date by far.
