I've played flight simulators since I was a kid and I've had more fun in this game than any others. It's scale and dynamic battles are unlike any others, couples with the physics and ability to use a mouse and keyboard up to a full hotas system makes it accessible to everyone, with good tutorials and the ability to create your own missions from scratch. You can even then play those missions Co-Op with friends! Nothing js more fun althan cruising over a hilltop in a Chicane with your buddy as wingman, taking out ground targets and evading planes trying to take you down, all while just casually chatting. It's not a full sim, so you're not going to be pressing buttons to turn on one engine and another for the other, like I said, very easy to get into. But that's what makes it so good! It's depth is deceiving. Even the ships have full physics to a point where I hit one with an AGM-68, in the rear, and over the course of the game it sank dynamically, not a set animation. Shooting planes down is satisfying. Crashing is fun. Surviving an emergency landing is exhilarating. I have a clip of my pilots running out of their chicane, after a nasty landing, and getting thrown 50 feet from the explosion when the fire hit the fuel tanks and residual Hellfires I had onboard. Who models that??? It was so cool. The battles can last hours. That's a good thing. It's fun to start a battle for the beginning and have other just join in for a few sorties, and other stick it to the end. My most recent game lasted an hour and 45 minutes, with a big tug of war over the Highway Strip. We got nuked out of existence (getting nuked on takeoff is wild) but managed to make a massive comeback and eventually retake the highway strip and win the game. I took the conventional bomb load on the Darkreach, a measly 72 bombs, and dropped all of them on the main base, taking out all defenses. The buildings and hangars remained, and I took those out with a well placed nuke, winning the game. This game has moments you won't find in any other, not DCS, not WarThunder, it's really its own game.

TL;DR: Give a it a try, if you like it you'll love it, if not, these games aren't for everyone. It scratches my autistic itch of dynamic battles, and that's what I love.

There's something about beating the snot out of little cute animals and throwing them to their death that's really satisfying. I haven't had a game grip me like this in a long time. If you like physics based zany wacky nonsensical fun, and are also good at games, this game is for you. I will say there some sweaty people who play this, but if you can beat them, the extra challenge and higher level of game play mixed with the random physics is fun. It reminds me of Totally Accurate Battlegrounds in a way.

This game is amazing. It's very simple, chill, intense and challenging at times, and just plain fun. I played a multi-player match late last night and matched with one other person, then the match started with everyone else being replaced by AI. The match begins and no attacks are made. A few turns in and I'm building an army. The other human player sends a few of his troops over, initiating a war that lasted the rest of the match. From then on I attacked him every time he was vulnerable, destroying his farms and universities, and barracks. His castle was very well protected. He made one other attempt to land on my island but was cut down immediately, and was on the defensive from there. Again and again I raid his island, and again and again my men are beaten back. His walls were clever, and I did not realize he had a lot of churches, even a cathedral. I had none. He was about to win by culture. In a last ditch attempt, I spent what culture I had to upgrade my troops and throw them against the island once more. 50 troops set across the island, destroying farms and killing peasants along the way. But wait.. on the horizon, not the foe we expect, but TWO other armies! Green and cyan had both invaded as well. They were already fighting each other, getting pelted by the many arrows from the island owners' castle and watchtowers, when my men join the fray. They slaughter the other invaders, but at the cost of being hit by all the arrows. No one survived, and the enemy was victorious. Next turn, he wins by cultural victory.

TL;DR: Go to church.

This game is stupid fun. It's grindy, but in the best ways. Every match is different and there's a lot of different styles you can play as.

Amazing game, I go it during the free weekend and have now bought it. Anyone complaining about the game has no skill. In 5 hours playtime I feel like I've mastered the mechanics. The gun rights are really fun, the time to kill is low which I like because time is always of the essence in this game. The standard bounty mode is great with friends but if you're playing solo, quick play is the way to go, and is honestly more fun in my opinion. When you're marked on the map for everyone and holding your own in a building against the other Ayers and win there's no other rush like it. The enemies are fun to kill and sneaking and stealth are a big part of the game. Using enemies and the environment to kill players is always very pleasing. The permadeath feature may sound daunting at first but it's very rewarding, once you level a character to 25 you can retire them, which gives you a massive amount of XP for your main bloodline, making leveling up super fast. I like that when you win a quicklplay you get to keep that Hunter and level him more. Overall a very fun and enjoyable game, I can see myself sinking much more time into it. I can't wait for future updates! If there's anything I would want more, is more players on the map, and more players in your squad.

I dont have many hours in this game, but a lot in Insergency, and this game is way better. Great gameplay. It's a great game. My only gripe is that I have to restart my entire computer if I want to stop playing, because if I exit out of the game, the screen goes black and bricks my machine.
